Priyanka Chopra Narrates "Tiger" for Disney+ Hotstar on Earth Day

Fans abuzz after social media gaffe sparks Deepika Padukone rumors

Priyanka Chopra Narrates

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is lending her voice to a new project, but it caused a stir on social media thanks to a friendly fire. Chopra announced her role as narrator for the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar documentary "Tiger" in a social media post, but accidentally tagged actress Deepika Padukone.

The eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed the tag, leading to speculation that Padukone might also be involved in the project. A flurry of comments like "Is Deepika in this project?" and "Why is Deepika tagged?" popped up. Priyanka promptly rectified the mistake by editing the caption.

"Tiger" isn't a live-action film where Chopra or Padukone would appear on screen. Instead, Chopra narrates the story of a tigress named Amba, following her struggles and triumphs raising her cubs in the Indian jungles. The documentary has been in production for eight years, capturing the beauty and dangers of India's diverse wildlife.

Scheduled for release on Earth Day, April 22nd, "Tiger" offers a glimpse into the lives of these majestic creatures and the importance of conservation. While the initial social media confusion might have been unintentional, it does highlight the enduring popularity of both Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in the Indian film industry.
