Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat has become a growth engine for the nation, fostering a spirit of collaboration and service for all. Chief Minister Patel emphasized the importance of including even the smallest citizens in the mainstream of development, as they are crucial contributors and partners in the state's progress.
'Team Gujarat' has made good on its promises, fulfilling public expectations with determination and bringing development to the people. The Chief Minister acknowledged the trust and support of the people, attributing the state's progress to Prime Minister Modi's decisive leadership.
The state government has devised a multidimensional development plan, focusing on society's most vulnerable members. Tough decisions have been made in the public interest, such as cracking down on illegal activities, strengthening maritime security, and implementing a successful anti-drugs campaign.
In just 100 days, the double-engine government has accelerated Gujarat's development, investing in key sectors such as health, education, and security. Notable achievements include the construction of 30,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, a 25% wage increase for workers, and extending the benefits of the National Food Security Act to over 500,000 people.
Chief Minister Patel outlined the roadmap for an advanced and self-reliant Gujarat over the next five years, expressing the state's commitment to contributing to India's ambitious goal of a five-trillion-dollar economy. This comprehensive development plan rests on five pillars, with a budgetary provision of ₹2 lakh crore allocated for basic amenities and social security for the poor and needy.
