The body of a ten-year-old girl was found in an abandoned area of Tatithaiya village, Surat district, on Sunday. The girl had been missing since last Monday.

According to reports, the family informed the police after the girl did not return home by late evening. A search operation was launched, but no trace of the girl was found until Sunday afternoon. The police received a call about a body found in the bushes, which was later identified as the missing girl.

The Kadodara police and the District Local Crime Branch (LCB) team reached the spot and took the body into custody. Injury marks were found on the girl's body, leading police to suspect foul play. The body has been sent for forensic examination, including a rape test. The post-mortem report will determine the cause of death and whether the girl was sexually assaulted.

This incident has sparked outrage in the Palsana Kadodara area, with residents calling for stricter law enforcement. They expressed concern about the increasing crime rate and urged the police to apprehend the culprits swiftly to set an example and ensure the safety of residents.
