Chirag Paswan Asserts Candidacy from Hajipur, Ready for Electoral Challenge

New Delhi, March 20 - Following a parliamentary party meeting, Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan confirmed his intention to contest the upcoming elections from Hajipur, Bihar, his father's birthplace. He expressed readiness to face any challenge, including potential opposition from his uncle, Pashupatinath Paswan.

Speaking to the media, Chirag Paswan affirmed that he will be the NDA candidate from Hajipur, highlighting the seat's significance as his father's constituency. Regarding a possible candidacy from Pashupati Kumar Paras, he stated that the decision ultimately rests with him, emphasizing his lack of fear towards challenges.

Looking ahead to the elections in Bihar, Chirag Paswan expressed confidence in the NDA alliance's prospects, aiming for victory in over 400 seats. He indicated that candidate names for all five seats will likely be finalized within the next few days, with official announcements to follow shortly after.
