Lord Mahakaleshwar Gets Unique Ganesha Makeover for Ekadashi

On the occasion of Ekadashi of Phalgun Shukla Paksha, the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Ujjain witnessed a special ceremony. Lord Mahakaleshwar was adorned in a unique form, resembling Lord Ganesha. After performing the traditional Jalabhishek with Panchamrit, the Shiva Linga was decorated with dry fruits and laddus, reminiscent of Ganesha's iconography. This special Shringar (makeup) was a highlight of the Ekadashi celebrations.

The day also saw Indian cricketer KL Rahul visit the temple with his parents. Rahul performed puja and sought blessings from Lord Mahakal. He spent nearly half an hour at the temple, offering prayers and participating in the rituals.
