Maharashtra Politics: MNS-BJP Alliance Talks Gain Momentum

NEW DELHI - Speculation surrounding a possible alliance between the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified in recent days. Talks between the two parties regarding a pre-poll pact for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are reportedly underway, with a series of meetings taking place across Maharashtra and in Delhi.

On Tuesday, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde met with MNS chief Raj Thackeray at a hotel in Delhi. Tawde, a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics, is seen as a key player in these negotiations. This meeting follows Thackeray's earlier encounter with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai.

Thackeray's arrival in Delhi late Monday night to meet with top BJP leadership further fueled speculation about a potential alliance. If today's discussions with Tawde prove positive, sources suggest that Thackeray could hold meetings with higher-ranking BJP leaders such as Amit Shah or JP Nadda later in the day.
