Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to Culminate in Mumbai, Maharashtra
Congress State President Nana Patole Announces Schedule, Invites Shiv Sena and Mahavikas Aghadi Leaders
Mumbai, March 11 - Congress state president Nana Patole has announced that MP Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter Maharashtra from Nandurbar district at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 12. The yatra is set to conclude with a meeting at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on March 17.
A delegation of Congress leaders recently met with Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray, inviting him to join the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. Leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi were also invited to attend the yatra's concluding meeting. The yatra will proceed through Dhule on March 13, Malegaon on March 13, Nashik on March 14, and Palghar and Thane on March 15, before reaching Mumbai on March 16.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which began in Manipur on January 15, has covered a distance of 6700 kilometers across 15 states, 100 districts, and 110 Lok Sabha constituencies over 67 days. Last year, Rahul Gandhi undertook a 4000 km-long padyatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
Preparations for the conclusion of the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in Maharashtra have been made by the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee. To ensure the safety of the yatra, Congress leaders met with the state Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla and requested police protection for Rahul Gandhi's journey through Maharashtra.
