New Delhi, March 8 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called upon digital content creators to initiate a 'Create on India Movement' to share the stories, culture, and heritage of India with the world. Speaking at the presentation of the first National Creator Awards at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of showcasing India's rich cultural tapestry to a global audience.

During his address, Prime Minister Modi urged content creators, especially those using platforms like YouTube, to raise awareness about drug abuse among youth and to highlight the achievements and contributions of women on International Women's Day. He assured that the awards would continue in the future, with a program planned for the next Mahashivratri to celebrate the role of Lord Shiva in language, art, and creativity.

Highlighting the impact of content creators in the digital age, Prime Minister Modi praised their role in shaping public opinion and driving social change. He noted the significant impact of policy decisions and campaigns on society and commended content creators for their role in the data revolution and the widespread availability of affordable mobile phones.

The National Creator Awards, according to the Prime Minister, will play a crucial role in recognizing and inspiring content creators in the country. He emphasized that content, when combined with creativity and digital platforms, can drive meaningful transformation in society.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi presented awards in various categories, including the Best Creator Award in Gaming to Nishchay, the Best Health and Fitness Creator Award to Ankit Baiyanpuria, the Disruptor of the Year Award to Ranveer Allahbadia (BearBiceps), the Cultural Ambassador Award to Maithili Thakur, and the Most Creative Creator-Male Award to RJ Raunak (Baua). Aman Gupta was honored with the Celebrity Producer of the Year award, while Kamiya Jani received the Favorite Travel Creator Award and Keerthika Govindasamy was awarded the Best Storyteller Award.
