Vadodara : A gym trainer, identified as 40-year-old Abhishek Trivedi, tragically lost his life in a fire incident at his apartment in Vadodara on Thursday afternoon. The fire, believed to be caused by a geyser blast, is currently under investigation by authorities.
According to reports, Trivedi, who resided alone on the eighth floor of the Prince Retreat apartment complex in Gotri, was found deceased in his bathroom following a sudden explosion and fire. Local residents who rushed to the scene after hearing the blast managed to extinguish the flames. Upon entering the bathroom, they discovered Trivedi's body with burn marks, and pieces of wires and bathroom tiles scattered around, suggesting a possible geyser malfunction.
The fire department and police were immediately notified, and senior officials arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation. Forensic experts have been summoned to determine the exact cause of the incident. This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the importance of regular appliance maintenance and adhering to safety protocols to prevent such accidents.
