Ahmedabad, February 26 : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel laid the foundation stone for the upcoming Shri Saidham Sanatan Temple in Thaltej, Ahmedabad, on Monday. The ceremony witnessed a surge of devotion as attendees chanted Vedic hymns and echoed "Jai Shri Ram."

In his address, Chief Minister Patel expressed his gratitude for the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing his dedication to restoring the sanctity and cultural significance of pilgrimage sites. He applauded the Prime Minister's efforts to revitalize these historical locations mentioned in ancient scriptures.

CM Patel Draws Parallels Between Religious and Infrastructural Development

Drawing a parallel, the Chief Minister pointed out that the construction of the Shri Saidham Temple coincides with the grand development projects underway, including the construction of an airport and AIIMS in Ayodhya. He highlighted this as a testament to the simultaneous advancement of religious and social infrastructure in India.

Speaking at the event, former Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel expressed his appreciation to Chief Minister Patel and the Gujarat Yatri Dham Vikas Board (GPYVB) for their support in facilitating the temple's construction. The ceremony also saw the presence of prominent religious figures like Mahamandaleshwar Dilipadasji Maharaj, Peethadhishwar Swami Avichaldasji Maharaj, and Chaitanya Shambhu Maharaj, along with local dignitaries and devotees.
