Actors Bid Farewell to Veteran Actor Rituraj Singh
Mumbai : The Indian film and television industry paid their final respects to veteran actor Rituraj Singh on Wednesday, following his tragic passing on February 19th. Singh, known for his roles in shows like "Anupamaa" and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania," succumbed to a cardiac arrest at his Mumbai residence.
His home in Versova became a meeting point for his colleagues and friends, who came to offer their condolences and pay their last respects. Actors including Nakuul Mehta, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, and Anoop Soni were spotted visibly emotional as they paid their respects to the departed actor.
As per the family, Singh's final rites were performed at the Hindu cremation ground in Oshiwara. Earlier, his mortal remains were kept at his home for the final darshan. A close friend and colleague, Amit Bahl, shared that Singh had been battling pancreatic issues and was hospitalized recently. He returned home briefly but experienced complications requiring another trip to the hospital, where he sadly passed away before arrival.
Rituraj Singh's passing is a loss for the Indian entertainment industry. His dedication and talent over the years garnered him respect and admiration from colleagues and audiences alike.
