Having secured a thrilling shootout win against Spain just yesterday, the team exudes confidence as they prepare to face their next challenge - the Netherlands.

India's campaign started strong, with a dominant 4-1 win over Spain followed by a dramatic shootout victory against the world-ranked Dutch team. While a 4-6 loss to Australia marked a temporary setback, they quickly bounced back with a clean 1-0 win over Ireland.

Now in Rourkela, the team continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 8-7 shootout victory against Spain once again. Their next conquest? Reclaiming victory against the Netherlands on their home turf.

Indian midfielder Hardik Singh, reflecting on the team's performance against Spain, acknowledged, "Our first half wasn't ideal, but we showed incredible grit to make a comeback and force the shootout. Our excellent goalkeepers instilled confidence in us, and we knew we had a chance."
