Rawalpindi, November 28: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and several other PTI leaders have been named in a terrorism case. The case, filed at Nasirabad Police Station in Rawalpindi, lists 75 individuals, including Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, Umar Ayub, and Sheryar Riaz.

According to ARY News, the FIR accuses Imran Khan of inciting protestors to march towards Islamabad on November 22. The report alleges that Bushra Bibi’s social media statements also provoked PTI activists. The individuals are charged with conspiring to block roads and attacking police officers with sticks, slingshots, stones, and bricks. The FIR includes 15 additional sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Previous Charges Against Imran Khan

Earlier, another case was registered against Imran Khan at the Taxila Police Station following violent clashes near Hakla Interchange, which resulted in the death of a police constable and injuries to others. This case also names Ali Amin Gandapur, Salar Khan Kakar, and Shahid Khattak among the accused.

Imran Khan’s Detention

Imran Khan, who has been detained at Rawalpindi Central Jail (Adiala Jail) for nearly a year, continues to face mounting legal challenges. PTI remains vocal about his demands and has rallied support for his release.

On X, the former prime minister said: "Dear Pakistanis. You have laid the foundation of azadi (freedom) by casting vote. I congratulate you all for winning 2024 polls. London plan has been foiled. Before rigging we were winning on 150 plus National Assembly seats. Now, as per form 45, we are winning on more than 170 seats."
