Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram, a leading Industry-Centric Technology & Liberal Arts University focused on research & Innovation is gearing up to hold its Convocation Ceremony, scheduled on the morning of 11th May 2024, at the auditorium of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi.  

Shri Bandaru Dattatraya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

Guests of Honour for this occasion are Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Panagariya, Chairman of 16th   Finance Commission of India and Prof. D.P. Singh, Former Chairman, UGC and Chancellor, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor of ASU, Chairman Apeejay Education and Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svrán Group, will preside over the function.

With such elite dignitaries scheduled to attend, excitement among the ASU graduating students is palpable. More than one thousand students are slated to receive the award of the Diploma or UG/PG Degree in their respective programmes during the convocation.  

The event will also mark the conferment of the Honorary Degree (Honoris Causa) of D.Litt. on Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Panagariya, by Shri Bandaru Dattatraya.

There will be a large gathering of distinguished guests, including alumni from far and wide to witness the accomplishments of the graduating students.

India Fine Art, Mumbai, announced the inaugural edition of NEWS ART FEST (North, East, West, South Art Fest) 2024, a spectacular Contemporary Art Festival that took place from February 17th to March 7th, 2024, at the esteemed Chitramayee State Gallery of Art in Madhapur, Hyderabad. This landmark event, curated by renowned figures in the art world, Manvinder Dawer(Founder, India Fine Art, Mumbai), Dr. Laxman Aelay(Artist/ Scholar), and Bolgum Nagesh Goud (Artist), promised to be an immersive experience celebrating the vibrant diversity of Indian contemporary art.

The show opened on saturday 17th February. The chief guest was Mrs. Shailaja Ramaiyer IAS principal secretary YTNC department , government of Telangana , Guest of hour was Mrs. Sudha Reddy director MEIN ,chairperson Sudha Reddy foundation.

Presented by India Fine Art, Mumbai, this groundbreaking festival showcased the works of over 200 contemporary Indian artists, spanning various genres and styles, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and new media art. Paintings and Sculptures, both by well-established and upcoming artists, along with an Art Camp, Art Historical Talks, Panel discussions and Art installations & other New Media Art, Film Screenings, and Performances.

Art Camp and Preview:

The festival kicked off with an onsite Art Camp from February 12th to 17th, 2024, featuring 13 senior and eminent contemporary artists from across India. Attendees had the unique opportunity to witness these maestros in action, interacting with them as they brought their creations to life. The festival also hosted an exclusive preview on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, offering a sneak peek into the diverse and captivating artworks on display.

Art Show Highlights:

The heart of NEWS ART FEST 2024 lay in its Art Show, a curated collection of over 200 artists' works, ranging from established luminaries to emerging talents. Visitors were mesmerized by the breadth and depth of artistic expression, with pieces representing various styles, themes, and mediums. In addition to the exhibition, the festival featured Art Historical Talks, Panel Discussions, Folk Art Workshops, New Media Art Installations, Film Screenings, and Live Performances curated by experts Anand Gadapa and Dr. Nirmala Biluka.

NEWS ART FEST 2024 was a magnanimous and one-of-a-kind Contemporary Art Festival presented by India Fine Art, Mumbai. It was the brainchild of three enthusiastic and dynamic individuals, Dr. Laxman Aelay, Manvinder Dawer, and Bolgum Nagesh Goud, who aspired to showcase the best of artistic practices from across the country, with Hyderabad as its host city. The festival aimed to celebrate the rich tapestry of Indian art and culture while providing a platform for both established and emerging artists. Hyderabad's unique legacy of nurturing art and culture, combined with its multicultural cosmopolitanism, made it the perfect setting for this transformative event. Through NEWS ART FEST 2024, they hoped to make art more accessible and affordable to art collectors and the public, enriching the vibrancy of the city and contributing to its cultural tapestry.

 Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi recently celebrated its Annual Appreciation Day with much grandeur and gaiety. This year’s theme was ‘Unboxed,’ depicting the need to avoid set patterns, boundaries and stereotypes that hinder the growth potential of the young minds. 

The event recognised the outstanding achievements of students in not only scholastic & co-scholastic areas but also endeavours that promote human values and ethical conduct. Apart from the prize distribution, the function also showcased a mesmerising cultural extravaganza by the students comprising music, dance and plays – all reflecting the abundant creativity and talent of the students.  

The function was virtually graced by Dr Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group & Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, who reflected on her own journey as a proud alumna of Apeejay School Panchsheel Park from where she did her schooling. She further said, “Our commitment is to provide a value-based and holistic education. While we focus on emerging frontiers of science and disruptive technologies, we also ensure that human values are incorporated and imbibed in a seamless manner.”

The Annual Appreciation day was spread over two days. On the first day, the Chief Guest was Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Director-Academics at CBSE. He was delighted to see holistic education, as per the National Education Policy, reflected in the many achievements of the school. The Guest of honour, Ms Ragini Rainu, renowned Sufi singer, commented on the importance of overcoming social evils.  

On the next day, Mr Bhupesh Chaudhary (IAS), Director, Training & Technical Education & Director of Higher Education was the Chief Guest. He motivated the students by saying that society and nation will support our progress if we keep believing in ourselves. Ms Reela Hota, renowned Odissi dancer was the Guest of Honour. She highlighted the importance of activities like dance and yoga for well-being.

New Delhi: Apeejay Stya and Svran Group is going to organise the 10th Indian Obstetrics and Gynaecology (IOG) Dr Stya Paul Awards 2023-24 which have been instituted to recognise outstanding contributory articles published in the IOG Journal for Basic & Clinical Research. 

This highly-anticipated event that has become an annual fixture of the research and medical community will be held at Hotel Le Meridien, Windsor Place, New Delhi, on 11th Feb 2024. 

The event will prove to be a great networking platform for doctors and researchers wherein they will share their knowledge & experiences about these concerns with each other as well as with the huge gathering of national and international delegates present on the occasion.

The highlight of the event this year will be an illuminating oration lecture by Dr. Ricardo Azziz, Professor, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Medicine, and Healthcare Organization & Policy, Schools of Medicine and Public Health, University of Alabama at Birmingham, US. He previously served as CEO of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. 
 
He will address the audience on the topic ‘Metabolic Syndrome in Women: Unraveling the Complexities and Implementing Effective Strategies’. The presentation will focus on metabolic syndrome which holds particular significance in women due to its potential impact on their health and well-being. 
 
Metabolic syndrome can lead to complications during pregnancy which pose risk to both the mother and the baby. It is linked to increase risk of developing chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, liver disease and many more. Addressing and managing metabolic syndrome is vital for women's health, as it plays a key role in preventing a range of associated conditions, supporting reproductive health, and promoting overall well-being. 
 
Regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, and an active lifestyle are essential components of a proactive approach to mitigate the impact of metabolic syndrome in women.
 
The lecture will shed light on understanding the disease pathogenesis and approach to its management which will assure that the highest quality of care is available to all.
