<p>The festival kicked off with an onsite Art Camp from February 12th to 17th, 2024, featuring 13 senior and eminent contemporary artists from across India. Attendees had the unique opportunity to witness these maestros in action, interacting with them as they brought their creations to life. The festival also hosted an exclusive preview on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, offering a sneak peek into the diverse and captivating artworks on display.</p>
<p><strong>Art Show Highlights:</strong></p>
<p>The heart of NEWS ART FEST 2024 lay in its Art Show, a curated collection of over 200 artists' works, ranging from established luminaries to emerging talents. Visitors were mesmerized by the breadth and depth of artistic expression, with pieces representing various styles, themes, and mediums. In addition to the exhibition, the festival featured Art Historical Talks, Panel Discussions, Folk Art Workshops, New Media Art Installations, Film Screenings, and Live Performances curated by experts Anand Gadapa and Dr. Nirmala Biluka.</p>

It was the brainchild of three enthusiastic and dynamic individuals, Dr. Laxman Aelay, Manvinder Dawer, and Bolgum Nagesh Goud, who aspired to showcase the best of artistic practices from across the country, with Hyderabad as its host city. The festival aimed to celebrate the rich tapestry of Indian art and culture while providing a platform for both established and emerging artists. She further said, “Our commitment is to provide a value-based and holistic education. While we focus on emerging frontiers of science and disruptive technologies, we also ensure that human values are incorporated and imbibed in a seamless manner.”</p>

<p>The Annual Appreciation day was spread over two days. On the first day, the Chief Guest was Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Director-Academics at CBSE. He was delighted to see holistic education, as per the National Education Policy, reflected in the many achievements of the school. The Guest of honour, Ms Ragini Rainu, renowned Sufi singer, commented on the importance of overcoming social evils.  </p>
<p>On the next day, Mr Bhupesh Chaudhary (IAS), Director, Training &amp; Technical Education &amp; Director of Higher Education was the Chief Guest. He motivated the students by saying that society and nation will support our progress if we keep believing in ourselves. Ms Reela Hota, renowned Odissi dancer was the Guest of Honour. She highlighted the importance of activities like dance and yoga for well-being. </p>

The presentation will focus on metabolic syndrome which holds particular significance in women due to its potential impact on their health and well-being. <br /> <br />Metabolic syndrome can lead to complications during pregnancy which pose risk to both the mother and the baby. It is linked to increase risk of developing chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, liver disease and many more. Addressing and managing metabolic syndrome is vital for women's health, as it plays a key role in preventing a range of associated conditions, supporting reproductive health, and promoting overall well-being. <br /> <br />Regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, and an active lifestyle are essential components of a proactive approach to mitigate the impact of metabolic syndrome in women.<br /> <br />The lecture will shed light on understanding the disease pathogenesis and approach to its management which will assure that the highest quality of care is available to all.<br /> <br />The Indian Obstetrics &amp; Gynaecology (IOG) Journal was started in 2011 as a new specialty publication designed for budding &amp; established authors &amp; researchers in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, by giving them an exhaustive platform to publish their research.
