New Delhi, June 20 — Ola Group's artificial intelligence arm, Krutrim, has announced the acquisition of BharatSahayak, an AI platform previously owned by technology consulting firm Samagra. The acquisition includes BharatSahayak’s core AI team, further strengthening Krutrim’s technological foundation. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

BharatSahayak, known for its AI-driven conversational capabilities, gained prominence during Mahakumbh 2025, where it powered the KumbhSahayak chatbot. This tool provided real-time assistance to pilgrims on rituals, travel routes, accommodation options, and major attractions, operating round-the-clock throughout the massive religious event.

According to a company spokesperson, the integration of BharatSahayak into the Krutrim ecosystem will enhance the platform’s offerings and further the company’s vision of developing inclusive and intuitive AI systems deeply rooted in the Indian context.

The acquisition marks a strategic move for Krutrim as it aims to scale BharatSahayak across India by leveraging its proprietary large language models (LLMs), AI engines, cloud infrastructure, and agent-based platform. As per agency report, the expansion is part of Krutrim's broader mission to build AI solutions tailored to India’s unique linguistic and cultural diversity.

New Delhi, April 11, 2025 — Ola Electric Mobility has introduced its much-anticipated Roadster X motorcycle from its Krishnagiri-based Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu. The electric two-wheeler, which marks a new phase in the company’s EV journey, is expected to hit the market later this month.

According to the company, the Roadster X series represents a significant leap in its efforts to revolutionize the electric vehicle segment. Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Electric, stated that the launch not only introduces a new product but also signifies the beginning of a new era in the EV industry. He emphasized that this new model is set to lead the next stage of the electric revolution.

The Roadster X comes equipped with a mid-drive motor that is designed to enhance both performance and safety. The vehicle also features a chain drive and an integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU), underlining its engineering advancements.

The series is available in several battery configurations, offering varying price points to suit different user needs. The 2.5 kWh version is priced at Rs 84,999, the 3.5 kWh at Rs 94,999, and the 4.5 kWh at Rs 1,04,999. A higher-end variant, the Roadster X Plus with a 4.5 kWh battery, will cost Rs 1,14,999. The top-tier model, Roadster X Plus with a 9.1 kWh battery (featuring 4680 India-made cells), is priced at Rs 1,84,999.

As per agency report, the Roadster X Plus 9.1 kWh variant boasts an impressive range of up to 501 kilometers on a single charge, positioning it among the longest-range electric motorcycles available in the Indian market.

The new launch signals Ola Electric’s aggressive push into the performance EV segment and its intent to broaden accessibility and adoption of electric mobility across the country.

Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ola Electric Mobility Limited, has amicably settled all outstanding dues with its former vehicle registration service provider, Rosmerta Group. The company informed the stock exchanges on Tuesday that the settlement has been completed and that there are no further claims or disputes pending between the parties.

Following the resolution, Rosmerta Group has filed a memorandum with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Bengaluru, to withdraw the insolvency petitions it had earlier initiated. As per agency report, the matter has now been formally closed, with no further legal proceedings expected.

Ola Electric Mobility reiterated its commitment to maintaining strong business relationships and ensuring timely resolution of commercial matters. The company emphasized that it prioritizes cordial settlements and continued cooperation with its vendors.

Earlier this month, Rosmerta Digital Services Limited had filed a petition with the Bengaluru bench of NCLT seeking insolvency proceedings against Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited. The petition alleged payment defaults related to services rendered.

In response, Ola Electric clarified last week that it had terminated contracts with two nationwide vendors, including Rosmerta, as part of its broader strategy to streamline operations and enhance profitability. The move was aimed at bringing more efficiency to its vehicle registration process, which the company has since brought in-house.

The settlement marks a significant development in resolving the financial dispute and reaffirms Ola Electric's focus on operational stability and vendor alignment amid its ongoing business transformation efforts.

New Delhi, March 18 – Ola Electric Mobility Limited saw a sharp recovery in its stock price on Tuesday after hitting an all-time low earlier in the day. The stock rebounded by 12.50% to close at ₹52.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), as per agency report.

Earlier in the trading session, Ola Electric’s stock had slumped to ₹46.32 per share, marking its lowest level since listing. However, after touching this low, the stock witnessed strong buying interest, surging by as much as 15.86% during intraday trade.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the company’s shares climbed 12.44% to close at ₹52.77. This surge in share price led to an increase in Ola Electric’s market valuation by ₹2,597.98 crore, taking its total market capitalization to ₹23,289.18 crore.

The stock had declined by over 7% on Monday amid concerns about financial difficulties faced by its subsidiary, Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited. Investor sentiment turned negative following reports that Rosmerta Digital Services Limited, a vehicle registration service provider, had filed a petition seeking insolvency proceedings against Ola Electric Technologies.

New Delhi, March 13 – Ola Electric has introduced a limited-time Holi Flash Sale for its S1 electric scooter series, offering significant discounts on various models. The sale, which began on March 13, will continue until March 17, providing customers an opportunity to purchase Ola’s e-scooters at reduced prices.

As part of the offer, the S1 Air model now comes with a discount of up to ₹26,750, while the S1 X+ (Gen-2) is available with a price reduction of up to ₹22,000. With these discounts applied, the starting prices of these models have been revised to ₹89,999 for the S1 Air and ₹82,999 for the S1 X+.

New Delhi, March 12 – Ola Electric announced on Wednesday that it has successfully implemented a company-wide initiative aimed at reducing costs and enhancing customer experience. The company stated that this transformation, initiated in November 2024, has led to a permanent reduction of ₹90 crore per month in operational expenses.

As per agency report, the financial impact of these cost-cutting measures will become fully visible from April 2025. Ola Electric, which operates in the electric vehicle segment, expects to achieve a break-even position in its automotive division’s earnings before interest and taxes (EBITDA) during the first quarter of the next financial year.

The company’s restructuring program involved shutting down regional warehouses and freight vehicles, ensuring direct delivery of components from the factory to retail stores, automating registration and other processes, and improving productivity across its sales and service network.

Additionally, Ola Electric reported a significant reduction in its average vehicle stock levels, which have dropped from 35 days to 20 days. The company also managed to cut down customer delivery time from 12 days to just three to four days, ensuring faster service and improved operational efficiency.

New Delhi, December 2 - Ola Electric announced its ambitious plan to quadruple its company-owned store count from 800 to 4,000 by December 20, 2024.

In a statement released on Monday, the company highlighted its efforts to establish over 3,200 new stores, all of which will include service facilities to strengthen its service network nationwide.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Electric, stated, "With our extensive Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) network and our Network Partner Program's touchpoints, we aim to establish a presence across the country, including beyond major and mid-sized cities."

Ola Electric further outlined its vision to onboard 10,000 partners in sales and service roles under its Network Partner Program by the end of 2025, aiming to solidify its reach and customer support across India.

New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS) Ride-hailing company Ola's mobility business in India reported a profit of Rs 250 crore in FY23 against a loss of Rs 66 crore in FY22. Bhavish Aggarwal-run company's revenue grew 58 per cent to Rs 2,135 crore in FY23 from Rs 1,350 crore in FY22.

"In FY23, we challenged ourselves – to not just grow and scale, but to do this profitably. While our revenue continued to grow at a strong clip of 58 per cent, we became EBITDA positive in the India mobility business. One of the few consumer internet businesses in India to be profitable at this level," Aggarwal said.

The company launched Prime+ to offer customers premium services with better partners, superior in-ride experience, faster allocation and no cancellations.

Over 16,000 partners have been on-boarded across 7 cities and 1.9 million riders have availed Prime+ service so far, according to the company.

"We are continuously building on this service and will make it available to many more consumers in the near future," the company said.

In September 2023, Ola launched its e-bike service in Bengaluru. "Our service offered the most affordable electric two-wheeler rides in India, priced 30 per cent lower than those of our competitors. This pioneering move led to a substantial 40 per cent market expansion in the category within three months," said Ola's new CEO, Hemant Bakshi.

"To date, we have accomplished more than 1.75 million rides. In addition, we have also set up 200 charging stations in Bangalore to service our fleet," he said.

In FY23, the company integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its care operations, aiming to elevate the overall customer and partner support experience.

"The results were remarkable, with a noteworthy 69 per cent improvement in resolution turnaround time. This underscores our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for the benefit of our valued users and partners," said Aggarwal.

Ola also has 6 million monthly active users in its financial services platform.

"We provide services ranging from payments, lending, asset financing and insurance. We will continue to build on our current base with a clear focus on our own customers -- partners and riders," it said.

New Delhi, Dec 11 (IANS) Homegrown electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric aims to raise nearly Rs 5,800 crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and is set to file its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) by December 20, media reports said on Monday.

According to the reports, the company is looking to list at a valuation of more than $7 billion by early 2024.

Through the IPO, Ola Electric plans to expand its EV business and establish a lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility, the reports said.

The company started sales in December 2021 and has sold over 353,000 units to date.

Meanwhile, Bhavish Aggarwal-driven Ola Electric’s net loss nearly doubled to Rs 1,472 crore in FY23, from Rs 784.1 crore in the previous fiscal year, as expenses surged significantly.

The electric vehicle company reported an EBITDA loss of Rs 1,318 crore as its total expenses jumped to Rs 3,383 crore, in comparison to Rs 1,240 crore in FY22.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) is a measure of core corporate profitability. The company is now targeting an EBITDA profitability of Rs 803 crore in FY25. The company saw its losses growing nearly 293 per cent to Rs 784 crore in FY22.
