Mangaluru, March 11 – Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif visited the Kukke Sri Subramanya Temple in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday to perform a special ritual.

As per agency report, Katrina arrived at the temple with a few friends to participate in the Sarpa Samskara ritual, a two-day prayer ceremony that will conclude on Wednesday afternoon. The temple administration confirmed her presence and stated that she was observing the ritual, which is typically performed as a form of atonement for the unintentional death of a serpent (Naga Devata), either on one's property or by one's ancestors.

The ritual is conducted in two phases, spanning approximately four to five hours each day. Katrina is expected to remain at the temple’s VIP guest house and will complete the ceremony by Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM. Her visit has drawn significant attention, with devotees and temple officials noting her devotion to the spiritual practice.

As per agency report, Katrina was recently honored at a Forbes India event for her contributions to the beauty industry. During the event, she was asked about her daily involvement in her company and how she manages work from home. Laughing, Katrina revealed that most of her brand’s important meetings take place at home. She jokingly shared that whenever she informs Vicky about a scheduled meeting, he immediately responds by saying, "That means you want me to stay out of the house all day!"

Apart from her professional commitments, Katrina recently visited the Mahakumbh Mela with her mother-in-law, where she took a holy dip at the sacred Sangam. Following this spiritual experience, she traveled to Austria for a vacation and shared stunning pictures from her trip on social media. Her travel snapshots have gone viral, with fans admiring her scenic getaway.

On the work front, Katrina was last seen in Tiger 3 and Merry Christmas. Since then, she has taken a break from the silver screen. Earlier reports suggested she would star alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, but recent updates indicate that the project has been put on hold. Farhan Akhtar is currently focusing on Don 3 with Ranveer Singh, delaying the production of Jee Le Zaraa.

Mumbai, Oct 27 (IANS) Hollywood actor Michelle Lee, who specialises in shooting extreme fight sequences, will be seen doing some action with actress Katrina Kaif in the upcoming 'Tiger 3'.

Lee has acted with Scarlett Johannson in 'Black Widow', Johnny Depp in 'Pirates of the Caribbean', Brad Pitt in 'Bullet Train' & Tom Hardy in 'Venom'.

Lee reveals Katrina and she had rehearsed for over two weeks before they shot the sequence at the Hammam. 

She said: "I'm not surprised. I thought it was pretty epic when we were shooting it. We learned and practiced the fight for a couple weeks and then shot it. The set design was absolutely gorgeous and the fight was really fun to do. It was wonderful being on an International film."

Lee is all praises for Katrina whose dedication towards perfecting action sequences has bowled her over. 

She said: "Katrina was as graceful and professional as can be. She worked really hard on getting the movements precise and making sure all the movements flow. It was clear she had experience in choreography so it was super easy to work with her. We worked up a sweat!"

Lee says managing the towels wrapped around their bodies was the biggest challenge of this Hammam sequence.

The actress said: "One of the main challenges was definitely the wardrobe! Our towels needed to stay in the proper place and with so much movement and fight choreography, it was definitely a challenge. We ended up having the towels sewn closed at certain points and that helped a lot."

She added: "Another challenge was striking each other in the perfect amount of distance so that it looks close enough to be dangerous and strong but far enough to not actually hurt each other."

"Can you imagine if I actually got her?! But I'm a professional lol. So things went smoothly, neither of us got hit so we just had to make it work for the camera."

'Tiger 3', from the YRF Spy Universe, has been produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma. It is set to release this Diwali, November 12, Sunday in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.

Mumbai, Oct 10 (IANS) Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif says she has given every bit of her for the third instalment of the ‘Tiger’ franchise.

Katrina, who is the first female spy of the YRF Spy Universe, has shown that she can pull off incredible action sequences all by herself.

Her poster as Zoya was unveiled on Tuesday. 

Katrina revealed that in order to pull off the physically challenging action sequences of 'Tiger 3', she pushed her body to ‘breaking point’. 

The actress said: “Zoya is the first female spy of the YRF Spy Universe and I’m very proud to have a character like her. She is fierce, she is courageous, she is all heart, she is loyal, she is protective, she is nurturing and above all she stands up for humanity, every single time."

Katrina added: “It has been an incredible journey playing Zoya in the YRF Spy Universe and I have put myself to the test in every film. 'Tiger 3' is no exception.”

“We wanted to take the action sequences to the next level this time and I have pushed my body to breaking point for the film and people will see that. Physically this has been my most challenging film yet.”

Katrina said that it is always exciting to do action and she has been a fan of the action genre like since forever.

“So, playing Zoya is a dream come true for me. Strong , gutsy, badass and no holds barred! I’m looking forward to the reaction of people when they see Zoya on screen. She is the yin to the yang of Tiger.”

‘Tiger 3’ has been produced by Aditya Chopra and has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. It releases during Diwali holiday this year.

Mumbai, Sep 2 (IANS) The makers of ‘Tiger 3’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have unveiled the poster of the film. 

Production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) on Saturday launched the first poster of ‘Tiger 3’ and it promises an insane, jaw-dropping action spectacle as two super-spies Salman and Katrina take on their most deadly mission yet. 

It was the success of Ek Tha Tiger & Tiger Zinda Hai  that cemented Aditya Chopra belief that he could incorporate two more larger-than-life agents Kabir aka Hrithik Roshan in War and Pathaan aka Shah Rukh Khan into his ambitious plans.

The crossover of characters from this ambitious spy universe also started with Pathaan, which saw a union of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in an adrenaline pumping action sequence that celebrated the superstardom of these two cinematic icons.  

YRF has officially revealed in the first poster of Tiger 3 that the plot of this film, the fifth from the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe, will follow the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War & Pathaan.

‘Tiger 3’ has been directed by Maneesh Sharma and will release on Diwali. 

Mumbai, July 17 (IANS) Actors Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film 'Merry Christmas' is all set to release on December 15.

The film is shot in two languages, with different supporting actors.

The Hindi version co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles. 

The film also introduces Pari, a child actor.  Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte are seen in cameos.
