Poonawalla expressed pride in acquiring, preserving, and caring for the iconic painting, stating that it is a national heritage that should periodically be made available for public viewing. Created during the peak of the artist's career in the 1890s, this piece presents a nuanced interpretation of Lord Krishna's childhood and the maternal love of his caretaker, Yashoda. It is considered one of Varma's most significant and emotive works.

The composition and the expression by each of these artists, depicts the thought process and the outburst of their inner most contemplation and feelings. This concoction presentation by various artists, show the darker and more serious sides. They walk us through some selfless satire, while the others create some interesting debatable dialogues. Holistically one can observe the creative excellence though for a few its experimenting and exploring of forms and practice new ways of capturing moments with meaning on their canvases, paper, through sculptures.

That was InBidz Global Art Contest Season 1, which just wrapped its debut season with over 15 countries participating, thousands of young creators submitting their work, and stories that stayed far beyond the prize list.

Organized by Wagish Sharma and Ritesh Banerjee, InBidz was created not just as a contest - but as a space.

A space where art is presence. Where children are creators, not competitors.

The Top 100 artworks were honored at a vibrant award ceremony held at Utsav, The Square, Delhi Aerocity, where families, artists, and supporters traveled from across India to be part of the moment.

For many, the experience was deeply personal.

“I feel very grateful that the organizers gave me the opportunity to participate and showcase my abilities.”
- Lâm Mai Hoàng, Under 12 (Vietnam)

“It was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
- Vaishali Maurya, Under 18

“I'm grateful for the opportunity to express myself.”
- Siddhant Sirsat, Open Category

One of the season’s most heartfelt gestures was the Heart of Gold Appreciation Award - a quiet surprise for children under 12 who gave their all.

But we never said who it was for.

At the ceremony, their names appeared one by one on screen-
Glowing in gold.
Parents cried. Children beamed. The messages poured in.

It wasn’t about who won.
It was about who was seen.

In recognition of exceptional originality and expression, the Top 3 artists in each category were awarded cash prizes totaling over ₹1 lakh.
A moment of celebration for talent - and for the courage to create.

The season culminated in a landmark online auction of the Top 50 artworks.
Art lovers and collectors from across the globe placed enthusiastic bids.

“At the age of 6 'My food my life' is her first artwork which has been sold.. It will always be special for her and her family . This happened all because of Inbidz..Thank you soo much, of course she has participated in many competitions and won many prizes.. but this will be in the top level”
- Mukhta S, Parent of a Top 50 Winner

Total bids crossed ₹2 lakhs, affirming a simple truth:
Art made with heart always finds a home.

“InBidz is more than a project to me - it’s like my own child.
I built it with my bare hands, hoping it would reach the ones I couldn’t -
the kids sitting quietly in their rooms, doubting their worth, hiding their art.
If even one of them felt seen… it was all worth it.”
- Wagish Sharma, Co-organizer

“Over the years, I’ve seen creativity take many forms - sometimes loud, sometimes silent.
What moved me most about InBidz wasn’t just the talent. It was the quiet return of self-belief in so many young hearts.
In a world chasing applause, this was about helping creators hear themselves again.”
- Ritesh Banerjee, Co-organizer

Looking Ahead: Bijay Biswaal Joins the InBidz Journey

In a major announcement, renowned Indian artist Bijay Biswaal will be joining InBidz as a mentor and Chief Judge for Season 2.

Born in Pallahara, Odisha, Biswaal Sir worked with Indian Railways in Nagpur before taking voluntary retirement to follow his passion for painting. His work - deeply rooted in Indian railways and rural life - has touched hearts with its quiet realism and surreal pen art.

In 2015, he received national recognition when Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned him in Mann Ki Baat, calling him a “karma yogi” whose art celebrates everyday India. He was later felicitated by the Government of Odisha and went on to become India’s first Brand Ambassador for Winsor & Newton.

His journey is proof that great art doesn’t need perfect conditions - just deep love.
His presence brings that same belief to every young artist at InBidz:
That their story matters. Their brush holds power.

While no official dates have been announced, anticipation for Season 2 is already rising - from schools, families, and creators around the globe.

Because if Season 1 brought the spark,
Season 2 promises to ignite a fire.

Each gesture of her hand, each rhythmic step, seems to carry the weight of centuries. This is no ordinary dance performance. This is Natya Therapy, and the woman at its heart is Komal Shah, a Padma Shri Award nominee who is transforming how we experience Indian classical arts.

What if dance could heal trauma? What if movement could shift anxiety, unlock trapped emotions, and restore the mind-body connection? These aren’t theories for Komal—they’re her reality, practiced and proven through her years of work across India and internationally.

Komal’s journey didn’t begin on stage. It began at home—as a homemaker, a mother, and a woman who chose to listen to the quiet whisper of purpose that most ignore. At 40, she stepped into the world not with a business plan but with a vision. A vision to revive India’s ancient performing arts and recast them as therapeutic tools in modern life.

Today, as the founder and director of the Natya Therapy Institute of Vedic Arts Pvt. Ltd., Komal Shah is at the forefront of a cultural and emotional revolution. Her approach integrates Bharatanatyam and Kathak with energy science, breathwork, chakra activation, mudras, and guided inner work. But this isn’t spiritual jargon—it’s a practice grounded in psychology, neuroscience, and lived results.

Her sessions are not performances—they’re experiences. In 75 quiet minutes, stress dissolves, breath deepens, and what begins as a simple gesture turns into a healing ritual. It’s this depth of work that has led her to treat individuals with autism, PTSD, anxiety disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and more. In one case, an autistic boy from Israel began sessions with Komal and, within weeks, saw such improvement that his psychiatrist approved him for enlistment in the Israeli Army—a previously unimaginable outcome.

Komal is also a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Coach, and Theta Healing practitioner, currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Performing Arts. Her credibility isn’t just spiritual—it’s academic, therapeutic, and widely recognized.

Yet perhaps what makes her work most extraordinary is its accessibility. She offers structured courses in Natya Therapy, not as workshops, but as doorways—for individuals, therapists, and seekers to understand how movement and consciousness intersect. These offerings aren’t advertised as miracles. They are quiet invitations. And for those who answer, the transformation feels both ancient and new.

A recipient of the 'Exceptional Women of Excellence' award by the Women Economic Forum and honours from senior police officials in Mumbai, Komal Shah is not chasing fame—she is holding space. For healing. For reconnection. For India’s spiritual and artistic legacy to be reborn in modern form.

As the world rushes to find quick fixes for deeper wounds, Komal stands with a slower wisdom. A reminder that sometimes, all it takes to heal—is a step. A breath. And a dance led with intention.

The exhibition showcases an exclusive series of encaustic abstract works on wood, exploring the themes of time, memory, and language. With her signature style of layered compositions, Sanghvi challenges perception and invites deeper contemplation through a visual language that bridges personal experience with universal narratives.

Sanghvi uses the encaustic medium—a blend of heated beeswax and pigments—to create textured, multidimensional surfaces. Her process includes incising, burning, and layering, forming rich tapestries of abstract forms, symbols, and text that evoke a rhythmic interplay between the past and present.

Drawing inspiration from global cultures and the subtleties of language, Threading Boundaries dives into themes of connectivity, spiritual introspection, and historical resonance. The show is a reflection of Sanghvi’s continued evolution as an artist, synthesizing technical mastery with emotional depth.

Her works have previously been displayed at esteemed venues such as the Salarjung Museum (Hyderabad), the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Centre (Washington DC), and even Times Square (New York). She was also part of the Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens Exhibit for Peace in the United States.

Art lovers, collectors, and critics are invited to immerse themselves in this contemplative journey of abstraction and meaning.

What truly distinguished Abeer’s journey was not just his mastery of Indian art but his fervent commitment to sharing its significance on a global platform. During his graduation ceremony, he took centre stage not just as a student but as a cultural ambassador, delivering a poignant speech that underscored the historical depth and universal appeal of Indian art. His eloquence resonated with the audience, comprising peers, seniors, and esteemed professors in fine arts, as he artfully wove narratives of tradition, innovation, and cultural heritage.

His ability to engage and captivate classmates from diverse cultural backgrounds speaks volumes about his passion for Indian art and his capacity to foster cross-cultural dialogue and appreciation.
