Mumbai, July 18 — Actress Sara Ali Khan has expressed heartfelt thanks to her fans for the appreciation she has received for her performance as Chumki in the recently released film Metro…In Dino. In an emotional note shared on Instagram, she posted behind-the-scenes pictures from the film’s set, stating that she feels grateful, blessed, and overjoyed by the audience’s response.

Sara thanked viewers not only for embracing the film but also for the love they showed toward her character. She emphasized that the audience’s affection means a great deal to her and serves as motivation to continue improving her craft. As per agency report, she previously opened up about working with director Anurag Basu, praising his distinctive and liberating filmmaking style.

Describing Basu's approach as surprising and unique, Sara noted that he offers his actors considerable creative freedom, which helps cultivate a vibrant and positive atmosphere on set. According to her, Basu believes that magical moments in storytelling often emerge when actors are allowed to express themselves freely. She added that the entire cast and crew were immersed in this environment during the shoot, which made the filming experience highly energetic and memorable.

Metro…In Dino is being viewed as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit film Life in a… Metro, which featured powerhouse performances by actors like Irrfan Khan, Dharmendra, Shilpa Shetty, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Kay Kay Menon. The new film pairs Sara with Aditya Roy Kapur in a romantic storyline and also includes an ensemble cast comprising Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.

Scheduled for theatrical release on July 4, the film has already generated notable excitement among audiences. Sara Ali Khan, currently riding high in her career, will next be seen in the mystery thriller Murder Mubarak, which is set to premiere on Netflix.

Taking to Instagram, Sara posted a few charming selfies along with a poetic caption expressing her monsoon mood. The caption read, “Monsoon mein bharo mugge aur cozy hokar suno ‘Jamana Lage’, romance wali feeling jab jaage, think of aapke pyaare sage.”

Through these words, Sara implied that rainy days bring a sense of romance, and it's the perfect time to think of your special someone when that emotion awakens.

In the photos, Sara can be seen donning a stylish, fitted outfit while striking various poses for the camera.

As per agency report, Sara was also spotted on May 28 at the launch event of the first song Jamana Lage from her upcoming film Metro In Dino. She was joined by co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, and others.

The song has been composed by Pritam, with vocals by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh. The music video opens on a rainy day with Aditya’s character bidding goodbye to Sara at a train station. The video then transitions to scenes of Ali Fazal and Fatima celebrating Holi, followed by a sweet scooter ride featuring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta through city streets. The final segment shows Pankaj Tripathi and Konkona enjoying a serene moment by the seaside.

Directed by Anurag Basu and presented in collaboration with Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, Metro In Dino is set to hit theatres on July 4.

Mumbai, June 14 (IANS) Actress Sara Ali Khan, who is receiving a lot of positive response for her recent theatrical release 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', has shared throwback pictures of herself with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The actress took to her Instagram on Wednesday to share two pictures, one which shows her enjoying a helicopter ride with Sushant, and the other of her reading the script sitting next to him.

She wrote in the caption: "On our way to Kedarnath for the first time. On my way to shoot for the first time. And I know neither are ever going to feel the same again. But somewhere between action, cut, sunrise, rivers, clouds, moonlight, Kedarnath and Allah Hoo I know you're there. Keep shining amongst your stars. From Kedarnath to Andromeda."

Sara made her Bollywood debut alongside Sushant in the 2018 film 'Kedarnath'. The film was well received by the audience.

Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found dead at his Mumbai house. His death sparked a massive outrage across the country at a time when everyone was confined to their homes in the pandemic. The case, which was also transferred to CBI, opened a can of worms and also put Bollywood on NCB's radar for alleged substance abuse.
