Referring to the recent military operation codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’, Adityanath stated that the world had witnessed a glimpse of the missile’s prowess and, if that wasn't enough, people should ask Pakistan about its impact.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the time had come to completely eliminate terrorism and urged the nation to unite under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He reiterated the Prime Minister’s recent declaration that any future terrorist attack on Indian soil would be treated as an act of war. Adityanath characterized terrorism as a persistent threat and said it must be dealt with in the same language it understands. According to him, ‘Operation Sindoor’ sent a clear message to the world about India’s stance.

As per agency report, Adityanath expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for choosing Uttar Pradesh as a key hub in India’s defense production roadmap. He highlighted the strategic significance of the BrahMos facility and credited Singh for championing the establishment of the facility during his tenure as Defence Minister.

The BrahMos facility in Lucknow is part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, which was announced during the 2018 Investors Summit. Spread across six nodes—Lucknow, Kanpur, Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, and Chitrakoot—the corridor aims to boost defense manufacturing and self-reliance in the sector. The state government provided 80 hectares of land for the facility at no cost.

The BrahMos manufacturing unit, built over three and a half years, is set to produce one of the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missiles, with a range of 290 to 400 kilometers. During the event, the Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to selected youth and was also presented with a model of the missile.

Adityanath further stated that any self-reliant nation must be capable of producing its own defense equipment, citing Israel as an example of how internal capabilities can ensure external security. He expressed confidence that India is progressing strongly in this direction.

The Chief Minister detailed how Uttar Pradesh has already made significant strides in defense manufacturing. He noted the successful launch of an ammunition production unit in Kanpur and the arrival of anchor units such as PTC in Lucknow, which supports not just BrahMos but also other aerospace-related manufacturing.

According to the Chief Minister, around seven anchor units linked to BrahMos are being established. He shared that Uttar Pradesh’s target is to attract Rs. 50,000 crore in investment in the defense corridor and generate one lakh jobs. So far, 57 MoUs have been signed with an estimated Rs. 30,000 crore in investments and the potential to employ nearly 60,000 youth.

Adityanath reaffirmed the state’s commitment to providing land and logistical support for all future defense-related requirements, including those from DRDO and BrahMos Aerospace. The event was also attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with local MLA Rajeshwar Singh and other dignitaries.

With this new facility, Uttar Pradesh has solidified its position as a key contributor to India’s defense production ecosystem, becoming the second state after Tamil Nadu to establish a dedicated defense industrial corridor.

Speaking at an investor summit held in Lucknow for the establishment of a textile park under the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme, the Chief Minister emphasized the urgent need to leverage India’s potential in the global apparel market.

As per agency report, Adityanath highlighted the contrast between the two nations, pointing out that while Bangladesh, with a population of 160 million, has made significant strides in garment exports, India, with a population of 1.4 billion, is yet to achieve similar success. He underlined the immense opportunities in the readymade garment sector and called for the creation of globally recognized Indian textile brands.

He stressed the importance of guiding India’s vast workforce by providing direction and opportunities, noting that a large population alone is not sufficient—it requires proper leadership to channel its potential. He also spoke about the significance of Uttar Pradesh not just as a production hub but also as a major consumer market that caters to the needs of neighboring regions like Nepal, Bhutan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.

To meet this demand effectively, the Chief Minister advocated for the development of comprehensive facilities within the PM MITRA Park, including stitching, dyeing, printing, packaging, and designing, ensuring a complete ecosystem for textile production and export readiness.

He emphasized that the "New India" will not tolerate such actions.

As per agency report, Adityanath made these remarks during a public gathering in Bahraich, amid ongoing controversies surrounding Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. He warned against celebrating figures who attempted to crush the country’s Sanatan culture, asserting that paying tribute to such invaders strengthens the roots of treason.

He asserted that those who insult India’s great ancestors while praising those who assaulted the nation’s civilization, disrespected its women, and attacked its faith will never be accepted in the New India. He further highlighted that when the world is recognizing the greatness of India’s Sanatan culture, every citizen has a duty to honor the country's great personalities rather than glorifying historical aggressors.

Adityanath's comments came while speaking about the recently concluded Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, which he described as the largest human gathering ever. He referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in Parliament, in which Modi praised the Uttar Pradesh government for successfully organizing the event.

The Chief Minister emphasized that no other country in the world has ever hosted such a grand event on this scale, reaffirming that India’s Sanatan culture stands as an inspiration for future generations.

Speaking at the 'Unicorn Companies Conclave' in Agra, Yogi Adityanath welcomed the attendees by drawing a parallel between the startup ecosystem and the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh, referring to the event as the 'Unicorn Maha Kumbh' of the startup world.

The Chief Minister emphasized the spiritual and cultural legacy of Braj Bhoomi, stating, “This region has long influenced India's civilization and culture. I just returned from Prayagraj and will head back after this conclave.”

Adityanath described the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh as a global marvel, emphasizing that such a massive turnout for any event, whether spiritual or tourism-related, is a rare occurrence. He expressed pride that Uttar Pradesh has the privilege of hosting such a historic event.

Reflecting on the historical and cultural importance of the Kumbh Mela, the Chief Minister said, “The history of the Kumbh makes us realize that India had established such grand events since ancient times.” He noted that the Kumbh Mela is traditionally held at four sacred locations: Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, Haridwar in Uttarakhand, Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, and Nashik (Trimbakeshwar) in Maharashtra.

Highlighting the cultural revival intention behind the Kumbh, Yogi Adityanath suggested that the visionaries of ancient India might have anticipated a time when Indians would feel disconnected from their traditions. The Kumbh Mela serves as a bridge to reconnect people with their heritage and spirituality.

The Chief Minister's address not only underscored the significance of the Maha Kumbh but also aligned it with the emerging entrepreneurial spirit showcased at the 'Unicorn Companies Conclave', presenting Uttar Pradesh as a land of both cultural depth and economic innovation.

The primary purpose of this significant meeting was to propose the incorporation of Ayurvedic treatments into the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme.

Leading the AFI delegation was Acharya Manish Ji, the distinguished founding patron of the organization and the visionary behind Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited.

Acharya Manish Ji articulated that the inclusion of Ayurvedic treatment facilities within these schemes could potentially benefit the entire population of Uttar Pradesh, which exceeds 27 crores. Ayurveda offers numerous effective medical methodologies, such as Panchakarma (a process for eliminating toxins from the body) and Ksharsutra (a surgical approach for diseases related to the rectum). These methods are not only safe but also cost-effective, providing immediate and lasting relief from various ailments.

It is imperative to underline that the Ayurveda Federation of India represents a collective of over 15 lakh Ayurveda stakeholders, including Vaidyas/Doctors, students, Panchakarma therapists, nurses, pharmacists, clinic assistants, pharma companies, Ayurveda colleges, principals, and more. As a Central Government-recognized Ayurveda Science Forum, AFI stands as the sole representative organization of its kind. Established just two years ago by leading physicians in the country, with Ayurvedacharya Dr. Abhishek serving as the main founder, the organization is committed to advancing Ayurveda as a global healthcare system and addressing the myriad challenges faced by millions of Ayurveda stakeholders. The Ayurveda Federation of India looks forward to constructive collaboration with the government of Uttar Pradesh and believes that the integration of Ayurvedic healthcare into these schemes will usher in a new era of holistic well-being for the state’s residents.
