Trump made these remarks during a phone call at an event held in New Delhi to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The call was facilitated by US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gore. Trump mentioned that the US and India have never been closer and that India can fully trust him and the US. He added that if India ever needs help, they know where to call and can reach out directly.

The grand event at Bharat Mandapam was attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Gore. Gore put the call on speakerphone so that everyone in the hall could hear Trump's voice.

Trump expressed his greetings to everyone, shared his admiration for Prime Minister Modi, and wished everyone a pleasant evening. He praised the US economy, claiming that it and the stock market are at record levels. During the event, Trump referred to Rubio as 'the greatest Secretary of State in American history' and asked to convey his regards to Prime Minister Modi, stating that he is a big fan of Modi.

Earlier, in his brief address, Secretary of State Marco Rubio described India as an extremely important partner for the US. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, in his speech, noted that the Declaration of American Independence gave rise to ideas that shaped the modern world, such as individual freedom, the rule of law, freedom of expression, and accountable governance.

He remarked that given India's pluralistic society and rich history of consultative culture, the resonance of these ideas is natural in India. The highlight of the evening was a stunning performance by musician A.

A recent phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu witnessed a sharp debate.

While Trump wants to resolve Iran's nuclear program and regional tensions through dialogue, Netanyahu is in favor of an immediate military strike to destroy Iran's infrastructure. Trump has recently decided to postpone a proposed attack on Iran at the request of Gulf countries. The U.S. is now working on a peace proposal with Iran, which will involve discussions on issues such as the nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz over the next 30 days.

However, the Israeli government has deep doubts about this diplomatic process. Netanyahu believes that Iran is using negotiations to buy time and enhance its military strength. The Israeli Prime Minister is dissatisfied with this diplomatic approach and fears that Iran will strengthen its position.

On the other hand, President Trump has warned that if these peace efforts fail, the U.S. will not hesitate to reconsider military options. Currently, the U.S. priority is diplomacy, while Israel's security strategy is focused on a strong military strike against Iran, leading to increased tension between the two countries.

A proposal introduced by Democratic Senator Tim Kaine, which limits the president's war powers against Iran, was approved in the Senate.

Four Republican senators broke party lines to support the Democrats, allowing the proposal to pass by a margin of 50-47. Following this decision, the president is now required to seek explicit permission from Congress for any military action in Iran. Democratic Senators Adam Schiff and Bernie Sanders welcomed this development, describing it as a significant step towards preventing 'unconstitutional wars'.

Senator Sanders stated that the American public is no longer in favor of spending billions on endless wars but wants to prioritize solutions to domestic issues. The opposition has termed this a major political victory with the support of Republican colleagues. This move comes at a time when there are prospects for peace talks between the U.S. and Iran, facilitated by Gulf countries.

This development has emerged as President Trump faced significant diplomatic pressure from Gulf nations—Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE—to avert a planned attack on Iran. Trump announced the halt of the attack following discussions with leaders of these countries, although he reiterated the need to be prepared for 'large-scale attacks' in the future. The Senate's decision to impose this restriction on war powers represents a significant legislative constraint on the president's ability to make independent military decisions, which could reshape America's future Middle East policy.

Washington, May 16. US President Donald Trump has made a significant and shocking claim upon returning from his three-day official visit to China.

In a special conversation with journalists aboard Air Force One, Trump stated that the US and China are in complete agreement that Iran should not have nuclear weapons at any cost. According to Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping firmly stated during their bilateral meeting that he does not want to see Iran become a nuclear-armed nation and that the strategic maritime route of the Hormuz Strait should be opened immediately for international trade. Trump also claimed that the US Navy currently has full control over the Hormuz Strait and that due to America's strict blockade, Iran has been suffering a heavy economic loss of $500 million daily for the past two and a half weeks.

During this high-level meeting in Beijing, the sensitive issue of Taiwan was also discussed in great detail between the leaders of the two superpowers. President Trump revealed that Xi Jinping does not want to see any kind of freedom struggle or military rebellion in Taiwan, as it could lead to a massive and destructive military confrontation globally. Trump stated that the Chinese president is strongly against the current activities in Taiwan.

However, Trump also clarified that he listened very carefully to Jinping's remarks regarding Taiwan's sovereignty and security but completely refrained from making any direct comments or official promises at that time. When journalists asked Trump about the historic assurance given by former US President Ronald Reagan in 1982, under which the US committed not to consult China before selling arms to Taiwan, Trump took a practical stance. He mentioned that the matters of 1982 are now very old, and he could not refuse to discuss this serious issue with the Chinese president under the guise of an old agreement.

Trump acknowledged that there was also an in-depth discussion between the two leaders regarding the supply of US weapons to Taiwan, on which they would soon make a final decision. He emphasized that the US does not need any new war or military front 9,500 miles away from its homeland at this time.

U.S. President Donald Trump has completely rejected the recent peace proposal sent by Iran, labeling it as 'garbage'.

Speaking to the media in the Oval Office, Trump stated that he has not even read the proposal in full as it is extremely 'foolish'. According to the President, the current ceasefire situation is on 'life support' and Iran is going through its weakest phase yet. Trump questioned Tehran's leadership capabilities, claiming that their military actions have caused significant damage to Iran's top leadership on multiple levels.

Criticizing Iran's nuclear program, Trump reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons at any cost. He stated that Iran is an unstable and dangerous nation, and thus, having nuclear power in its hands poses a threat to the world. Trump claimed that Iranian nuclear sites have been so severely damaged by U.S. attacks that Iran has sought help from the U.S. to remove 'nuclear dust' from those sites.

He described U.S. military action as a 'great service' to the world and heavily criticized the lenient policies of previous administrations. On the other hand, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf responded by stating that the U.S. has no option but to accept Iran's 14-point proposal. He warned that any delay in this matter would have economic repercussions for American taxpayers.

Meanwhile, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization clarified that the issues of uranium enrichment and nuclear technology are not included in the agenda for any negotiations. Tehran asserts that the focus of any potential talks should solely be on ending regional warfare, not compromising on their nuclear rights.

US President Donald Trump expressed strong displeasure over Iran's peace proposal, deeming it completely unacceptable. Iran had sent a draft for ending the war to the US through Pakistan, which included conditions such as lifting sanctions, ending port blockades, and the withdrawal of US troops.

In response to these conditions, Trump posted on 'Truth Social' that he did not like the response from Iran's so-called representatives at all. He labeled the Iranian leadership as a 'crazy regime' and made it clear that no agreement was possible with such conditions. In a recent interview, Trump claimed that Iran has completely lost militarily and its defensive and offensive capabilities are nearly exhausted.

He sharply commented that Tehran currently has neither an air force nor an effective navy. He warned that the US is closely monitoring Iran's uranium enrichment facilities and that if any suspicious activity is observed, a significant military action would be taken immediately. According to Trump, even if the US military withdraws today, it would take Iran at least 20 years to recover.

Discussing ongoing US military operations in the region, the President indicated that Washington's work is not yet complete. He estimated that the US military has only destroyed about 70 percent of its designated targets, meaning that more attacks could occur in the future.

Trump reiterated that the international community cannot allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons at any cost. Currently, tensions in the Gulf region are at a peak, and military rhetoric has further diminished hopes for peace over diplomatic avenues.

This program was previously conducted in American schools to assess children's physical fitness but was discontinued during Barack Obama's administration. At an event held at the White House, Trump emphasized the importance of promoting fitness and sportsmanship among youth, alongside athletes, officials, and children. Professional athletes such as golfer Bryson DeChambeau, golfer Gary Player, and former NHL player T.J. Oshie participated in the event. Trump stated that he signed a proclamation recognizing national youth sports and fitness, as well as the first copy of the newly reintroduced 'Presidential Fitness Test Award', which acknowledges the achievement of the 'gold standard' in physical fitness. This program was initiated during John F. Kennedy's presidency and remained a significant part of American schools until a new program was introduced in 2013. In his speech, Trump emphasized competition and discipline in sports, asserting that competition is part of America's identity and essential for the country's progress. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Noted that the U.S. Has become one of the most unhealthy countries, with childhood obesity levels rising from 5% to 20%, and 70% of adults being overweight or obese, while 77% of children fail to meet the physical standards required for military service.

Kennedy praised the original program initiated during his uncle President Kennedy's tenure, recalling it as a memorable and significant tradition for his generation. U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth remarked that youth physical fitness is directly linked to military readiness, expressing concern that nearly three-quarters of American youth are not eligible for military service.

The Presidential Fitness Test was launched nationally during the Cold War amid concerns about the physical preparedness of American youth compared to their European counterparts. The test typically included pull-ups, sit-ups, shuttle runs, and endurance exercises, with awards and certificates given to the best-performing students. This decision comes at a time when concerns are rising globally, including in India, about increasing obesity among children, addiction to mobile and screens, and reduced physical activity following the COVID pandemic, prompting various governments to launch fitness, sports, and health awareness campaigns.

This surprising move comes at a time when tensions in Europe have escalated due to comments made by President Trump and the German Chancellor.

The Pentagon took this step following a heated debate between Trump and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The main reason for this escalation was a controversial remark made by Merz regarding the ongoing Iran war, where he stated that Iran was humiliating the U.S. In negotiations to end the two-month-long conflict.

In response, Trump sharply advised Merz to focus on resolving the Russia-Ukraine war and to concentrate on fixing his own country instead of wasting time on the Iran war. A senior Pentagon official described Germany's recent statements as highly inappropriate and stated that the President is rightly responding to these comments by withdrawing troops from NATO countries. The troop withdrawal process is expected to be completed within 6 to 12 months, bringing the number of U.S. troops in Europe back to pre-2022 levels. Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, then-President Joe Biden had increased the number of troops in Europe, but now the U.S. Is reversing those decisions.

It is noteworthy that the largest U.S. Military base in Europe is located in Germany, which is a key NATO member, with approximately 35,000 troops currently stationed there, along with an important training hub. In recent months, Germany and NATO have been under heavy scrutiny from Trump, who has criticized European allies and NATO for not sending their navies to open the Strait of Hormuz during the Iran war.

He praised UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, calling him a visionary leader. Trump believes that this move will increase competition in oil production, leading to a decrease in crude oil and gas prices in the global market. He stated that the UAE's decision could prove beneficial for American consumers and the global economy, as exiting OPEC would allow the UAE to increase production at its discretion.

The UAE's decision to leave OPEC has surprised energy experts worldwide. According to a report by ASK Wealth Advisors, while the immediate impact on prices is uncertain, it may weaken coordination regarding future oil supply. The report warned that amid ongoing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, this step by the UAE could make the trading range more volatile.

A lack of coordination within OPEC Plus could reduce the 'cartel premium,' leading to significant price fluctuations. On the other hand, renowned economist Jeffrey Sachs expressed deep concern regarding this change. He warned that the UAE's exit could prove to be a 'strategic mistake' amid rising geopolitical tensions and crude oil prices surpassing $100 per barrel.

According to Sachs, ongoing disruptions in oil and gas supply could push the global economy towards a severe crisis and widespread instability. He emphasized that coordinated supply management is crucial during this global shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Amid stalled talks between the U.S. And Iran, President Donald Trump has directed his administration to continue the blockade against Iran.

According to local media, during a meeting with top security officials at the White House on Monday, Trump decided to maintain pressure on Iran's economy and oil exports. This includes a strategy to completely halt the movement of ships from Iranian ports. As per a report from the Wall Street Journal, Trump is currently not inclined to abandon his demand that Iran pledge to suspend its nuclear enrichment for at least 20 years and accept strict sanctions thereafter.

Trump told his associates that Iran's three-phase proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and leave nuclear talks for later discussions demonstrates that Iran is not negotiating in good faith. White House spokesperson Anna Kelly stated that the U.S. Has achieved its military objectives in the conflict with Iran.

She mentioned that due to the successful blockade of Iranian ports, the U.S. Is now in a position of maximum advantage. The report also noted that the continuation of the blockade is prolonging the conflict, leading to an increase in gas prices, which is affecting Trump's popularity and the Republican Party's prospects in the midterm elections.

It is noteworthy that since the major attacks by the U.S. And Israel on Iran on February 28, maritime transport through the Strait of Hormuz has reached its lowest level.

Donald Trump has canceled the Islamabad mission while offering Iran a phone conversation. He has also indicated a potential separation from NATO, stirring international political dynamics.

The U.S. President stated that American and Iranian officials could engage in phone discussions for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. In an interview with Fox News, Trump mentioned that he decided against sending a delegation that would take 17 hours to fly.

He noted that all options are available, and if Iran wishes to negotiate, they can either come directly to the U.S. Or communicate via phone. The second round of talks became controversial when Iran's top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, departed from Pakistan.

Shortly after, Trump revealed that he had instructed U.S. Envoys not to proceed to Islamabad. He explained that the mission was canceled due to a lack of progress in talks and stated that Iran could contact the U.S. whenever they wished. Regarding NATO, Trump expressed his disappointment with the military alliance, suggesting that the U.S. Might consider separating from it, as member countries ignored American appeals for assistance after Iran effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz.

He emphasized that the U.S. Has been supporting NATO countries for many years, spending trillions of dollars, but they were not present when the U.S. Needed them.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a return visit to Islamabad. After departing for Moscow late Saturday night, he kept the prospects for talks alive. Araghchi had previously visited Oman, which had mediated between Iran and the U.S. Islamabad officials did not provide any information regarding the return date of the U.S. Delegation.

The White House had stated on Friday that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would be sent to Islamabad for the second round of talks, but Trump canceled the mission after Araghchi's departure, reiterating that Iran could contact the U.S. Whenever they wished.
