An alarming case of cheating in the NEET exam has emerged from a center in Godhra, Panchmahal district, resulting in an FIR against three individuals. The District Education Officer filed a complaint against Tushar Bhatt, a teacher at Jai Jalaram School in Godhra, Parshuram Rai, owner of Rai Overseas Company in Vadodara, and Arif Vora of Godhra. Tushar Bhatt has been suspended pending further investigation.

District Collector Ashish Kumar received information regarding irregularities during the NEET exam held on May 5. Following this, an investigation was launched by the District Additional Collector and the District Education Officer.

The investigation team discovered Rs 7 lakh in cash in the car of the Deputy Center Superintendent. Additionally, WhatsApp chats on the Deputy Center Superintendent's phone revealed plans to make six students cheat after the exam, demanding Rs 10 lakh from each student.

Senior police officials have initiated an investigation after the complaint was registered at Godhra police station. Panchmahal District Education Officer Kirit Patel stated that the accused conspired to manipulate OMR sheets for six candidates after the NEET exam, with an agreement to extort Rs 10 lakh from each candidate, of which Rs 7 lakh has been recovered so far.

The fraud came to light on May 5 when the Education Department received information about cheating by Tushar Bhatt in the NEET examination at Jai Jalaram School. Upon investigation, WhatsApp messages between Tushar Bhatt and Parashuram Rai were discovered, detailing a scheme involving 11 candidates. The investigation has revealed Parshuram Rai's involvement in the cheating scandal.

AHMEDABAD, June 29 - In a tragic incident on Thursday afternoon, a wall of the Sanmukha Agro Company collapsed in Chandrapura village, Halol Tehsil, Panchmahal district, leading to the death of four children and leaving four others injured.

The wall collapsed after heavy rains lashed Halol, trapping two families living in huts near the company's premises under the debris. The victims were labourers and their families who had made temporary dwellings in the open plot adjacent to the company wall.

Among the deceased were four children, all under the age of five. This included two daughters from one family and a son and another child from the second family. The children were identified as Chiriram Damor (5), son of labourer Jitendra Damor, and Abhishek Bhuria (4), Gungun Bhuria (2), and Muskan Bhuria (5), children of labourer Ambaram Bhuria.

The injured survivors, named Parvati (26), Aaliya Damor (5), Meet Damor (2), and Hiraben Damor (25), were first rushed to a nearby hospital. They were later referred to a medical facility in Vadodara for further treatment. The injured comprise a boy, a girl, and two women.

The Halol Tehsildar, Mayur Parmar, arrived at the accident site following the incident, marking the beginning of official investigations into the tragic event.

In Gujarat's Panchmahal district, a wedding celebration took a tragic turn when a young man dancing with the groom on his shoulders suffered a heart attack and died. The incident was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media. This follows a recent increase in heart attack cases across the state, including several deaths among young individuals engaged in sports activities.

The incident took place in Rajyata village of Morva Hadaf taluka. As the young man danced with the groom on his shoulders, both suddenly fell to the ground. The young man's friends rushed him to the hospital, but he died en route. The joyous atmosphere of the wedding was replaced with mourning as the tragedy unfolded.

The video of the incident, showing the young man collapsing while dancing to the DJ's music, has been widely circulated on social media. The young man was reported to be around 27 years old.
