New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday accepted defeat in the Assembly polls in the state saying that the results were unexpected and the party will delve into the reasons that led to the debacle.

Gehlot, who arrived in the national Capital, told the media, "I have been saying that the people are supreme. The Assembly election results were unexpected."

He added that the Congress was hoping for the mandate of the people to be in its favour. "But, we accept the result with all humility. And we congratulate the new government and hope that they will work for the people," he said.

When asked if the party was unable to take the state government's schemes to the people, Gehlot said, "I think the schemes of the Rajasthan Government were good and these were discussed all across the country and even the guarantees were good. But in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, too, the results have not gone our way. And these were unexpected."

"We will delve into the reasons that led to the defeat of the party in these three states," he added.

District Industries Center General Manager, Bikaner, Ms Manju Nain Godara, said that with the aim to take the state government’s ambitious schemes to the entrepreneurs, India MSME Week will be started on July 21st at Hotel Vasant Vihar in Bikaner by the Industries and Commerce Department. During this, various issues, including business possibilities and export and import techniques, will be discussed. On this occasion, Moolchand Chahar, editor of Business Ranker’s magazine, said that the pre-events of ‘India MSME Week’ will be organized in different districts of the state, and the final event will be held in Jaipur, in which businessmen from all over the state, as well as the country, will participate.

Jaipur, June 30 (IANS) After making T.S. Singh Deo the Chhattisgarh deputy Chief Minister, the Congress high command is now deciding to resolve the ongoing Gehlot-Pilot tussle in view of forthcoming Assembly polls in Rajasthan.

Sources said that the party leaders are working on a three step formula.

Under the first formula, it is being discussed that Pilot be made party's national general secretary, CWC member, and also be given the charge of Rajasthan Assembly poll campaign committee.

Second formula is to bring Pilot back as state party chief. In this case, the Gehlot camp will be upset as it wants the party Chief to be a person from their group.

The Gehlot group says that removing current PCC president Govind Singh Dotasra during election year can lead to a dent in the Jat vote bank. However, the party high command is discussing if Dotasra can be made Deputy Chief Minister in case.

Third formula being discussed is to make Pilot and Gehlot sit face to face and resolve differences and if Pilot can be made the next CM face for this election. The party wants Gehlot and Pilot to come together and contest next polls unitedly, said party leaders.

Jaipur, April 21 (IANS) Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje has criticised Congress leader Sachin Pilot for claiming that she is in collusion with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, saying "milk and lemon juice does not mix together".

"Many people have been deliberately telling that 'we (she and Gehlot) have met, and there is a collusion between us'. How is this possible with someone with whom principles and ideology do not match? Does milk and lemon juice ever mix?" she wondered.

The BJP leader said this while speaking at a programme during her visit to Bishnoi Samaj temple in Suratgarh on Thursday.

The former chief minister also criticised the opposition while hitting out at the Gehlot-led Congress government over price rises in the state.

"The Bishnoi community believes in forgiveness. But one who is not worth forgiving should not be forgiven. Also, corruption is a kind of theft. Support only such people who can do good to the entire society, so that we can serve you again," she said.

Jaipur - Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the creation of 19 new districts and three new divisions - Sikar, Pali, and Banswara - in the state, in a move seen as a masterstroke in balancing both regional and political factors. By announcing a large number of districts simultaneously, Gehlot aims to reduce the impact of anti-incumbency while addressing demands for new divisions in areas far from existing headquarters.

Gehlot's announcement counters the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s temple agenda. The BJP has accused the Congress government of "breaking" temples and banning processions on Ram Navami. Gehlot announced several initiatives for the development of major temples and religious tourism in the state, including the allocation of Rs 100 crore for Beneshwar Dham and the formation of the Pushkar Development Authority for Tirtharaj Pushkar.

In addition, Gehlot announced the formation of the Veer Tejaji Board, an attempt to address the needs of the Jat community through social engineering before the upcoming elections.

However, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje criticized the announcements as attempts to fulfill personal political interests at the expense of Rajasthan's economic system. Raje claimed that the creation of new districts would lead to administrative complications, and accused Gehlot of politicizing the budget without considering the state's fiscal indicators.

Raje reminded the public of the Congress government's past actions, such as the paper leak scandal, the false promise of farmer loan waivers, and the deteriorating law and order situation.
