Mumbai, Sep 27 (IANS) Actress Parineeti Chopra made her wedding day even more special by recording the song ‘O Piya’ for her newly-wed husband and AAP leader Raghav Chadha.

According to media reports the song was played on D-Day, held on September 24. 

Titled 'O Piya', the soft romantic track is sung by Parineeti herself.

The lyrics are a mix of Hindi and Punjabi. The track has currently been released on Youtube.

The description says it is composed by Gaurav Dutta, the lyrics penned by Gaurav, Sunny MR and Harjot Kaur. 

It was on September 24, when Parineeti and Raghav started with their happily ever after. The two got married in a big fat Punjabi wedding at the luxurious The Leela Palace, Udaipur. The wedding was attended by several politicians and celebrities. 

However, Parineeti’s ‘Mimi’ didi, Priyanka Chopra Jonas could not make it to the wedding. Her mother Madhu Chopra said that Priyanka was busy with work and hence couldn’t make it. 

For the wedding celebrations, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and former tennis player Sania Mirza were seen in attendance. 

Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS) Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha have finally shared several pictures from their dreamy wedding in Udaipur.

The actress said that she finally feels blessed to be ‘Mr and Mrs.’

Taking to Instagram, a day after her wedding on Sunday, Parineeti posted a string of pictures from their jai mala and pheras. A picture of her ‘ghoonghat’ shows “Raghav written on it.

The pictures were captioned: "From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now."

The grand celebration took place on September 24 at the Leela Palace here in presence of close friends and family. The jai mala and pheras took place around 4.30 p.m on Sunday.

Names such as Sania Mirza, Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, along with Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister of Punjab and Harbhajan Singh were among the other guests at the wedding. The couple had an ivory-themed wedding and the guests were seen dressed similarly. For the vidaai, the song 'Dilwale Dhulhaniya Le Jayengey' picturised on Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol was played.

For the wedding, Parineeti wore a pearl white ensemble by Manish Malhotra outfit, while Raghav was styled in the same colour as per the theme by his maternal uncle and fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva for the big day.

Mumbai, May 16 (IANS) Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has told her 'didi' Priyanka Chopra Jonas to prepare for "bridesmaid duties", cryptically hinting at her impending wedding.

Parineeti dropped a comment on a post by her actress-sister Priyanka, who is fondly called as 'Mimi' by her family.

Priyanka had shared some unseen pictures from Parineeti's engagement with AAP leader Raghav Chadha. She had also shared a congratulatory message.

Priyanka had written: "Congratulations Tisha and Raghav... Cannot wait for the wedding! So happy for you both and the families so fun to catch up with the fam!"

Reacting to that, Parineeti replied on Tuesday: "Mimi didii - bridesmaid's duties coming upppp!"

Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in New Delhi on May 13.

It was an intimate ceremony and was also attended by politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram and Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray.

Mumbai (IANS) Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has wrapped up shooting of her upcoming film 'Chamkila', in which she will be sharing screen with Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The film has been directed by Imtiaz Ali, who is known for films such as 'Jab We Met', 'Rockstar' and 'Tamasha'.

The film marks the first collaboration between Parineeti and Diljit, who are set to portray the greatest singers from Punjab in the movie. While Diljit is set to portray the titular character, Parineeti will be seen portraying the character of Amarjot Kaur. The film has been extensively shot in Punjab.

Parineeti took to the story section of her Instagram and expressed gratitude towards the entire crew of the film and shared her experience on social media. She wrote: "Imtiaz Sir, Diljit, Team Chamkil...My life remains forever changed...the most heavenly crew and experience. Peace, happiness, meditation, Punjab...Will never, ever forget this."

Diljit also took to his social media to heap praise on his co-actor Parineeti Chopra. He wrote: "@patineetichopra Film ch Kamaal Kam Kita Parineeti ji ne. Unbelievable." (Parineeti has done an amazing job in the film. Unbelievable)."
