Mumbai, Jan 21 (IANS) Actress Nora Fatehi has become the recent victim to the problem of deep fake videos on the Internet.

The actress took to her Instagram stories and raised alarm as she clarified that the woman in the video isn’t her.

Nora shared the video of a clothing brand that used her deep fake.

The video shows her lookalike promoting a fashion brand, aping everything from her mannerisms to the look and voice.

The actress wrote: “Shocked!! This is not me!”

She also branded the video ‘fake’ in bold letters to make it clearer. The brand is yet to respond to her claims.

The Indian entertainment world was rocked when a deep fake video of the ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ actress Rashmika Mandanna made its way to the Internet.

The video showed a woman, dressed in black, entering a lift. Her face was morphed and edited in a way that it resembled the actor.

The main accused in the case related to Rashmika’s deepfake video was arrested by the Delhi Police in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.

In the video, the face of a British-Indian influencer, Zara Patel, in a black workout dress, was edited and replaced with that of the Bollywood actor.

New Delhi, March 25 (IANS) A Delhi court on Saturday adjourned actress Nora Fatehi's plea against Jacqueline Fernandez alleging that the latter made defamatory allegations against her for "malicious reasons" and to destroy her career in Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar as the prime accused, for May 22.

The matter was listed before Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Kapil Gupta of Patiala House Court.

On January 13, Fatehi had recorded her statement as a witness in the money laundering case in the presence of Metropolitan Magistrate Akriti Mahendru.

The court had, on December 19, 2022, noted that counsel for the complainant sought some time to file the list of witnesses.

Fernandez is also being investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police in the case involving Chandrashekhar.

Earlier, Fatehi had also appeared before the EOW.

She has alleged that Fernandez made a false statement against her despite being an actress too.

"Fernandez has unnecessarily dragged and defamed me as I am in the same industry. She is fully aware that the business of any artiste and their career is solely based on their reputation. This clearly establishes that the said imputation has been made with the intention and knowledge that such imputation will harm the reputation of the complainant," her plea read.

She had also accused a few media firms for quoting Fernandez, which lowered her reputation, in the same plea.

Chandrashekhar allegedly spent around Rs 20 crore on different models and Bollywood celebs.

Mumbai, March 4 (IANS) Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was seen dancing in a red lehenga as he was performing alongside Nora Fatehi in Atlanta.

Akshay and Nora are touring the US with his The Entertainers tour. A clip has been shared by paparazzi Viral Bhayani on Instagram.

The video shows Akshay starting his act by donning a red lehenga over his black outfit. He is joined by Nora in a short red shimmery outfit, he removes the lehenga to step out in a shimmery black blazer and black pants. The two are seen dancing on 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', from his film 'Selfiee'.

'Selfiee' is directed by Raj Mehta. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. A remake of the 2019 Malayalam film, 'Driving Licence', the film revolves around a rivalry between an RTO Inspector and a prominent actor.
