This comes just days after Priyanka's appearance at Isha Ambani's Holi party. Pictures from both events have been doing the rounds on social media.

Priyanka donned a traditional yellow Punjabi dress for the temple visit, while Nick Jonas and Malti Marie also sported traditional attire. The family was seen offering prayers at the Ram Lalla shrine.

New Delhi, May 13 (IANS) Even as the entire nation was glued to the Karnataka election results, the arrival of Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Saturday for her sister Parineeti's engagement with AAP leader Raghav Chadha drew a phalanx of press photographers and TV camera persons to the VIP area of Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Sporting a golf cap and dark shades, and lightly dressed in a beige sporty ensemble, Priyanka came out of the airport and headed straight for, presumably, Kapurthala House, where the ceremony is taking place at 5 p.m.

Unlike other occasions, she was not accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas, with whom she most recently grabbed a lot of attention on the Met Gala red carpet, or her daughter Malti Marie.

Priyanka, of course, has been coming regularly to India, first for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre's three-day inauguration gala and then for promotions of the sci-fi thriller series 'Citadel' with co-star Richard Madden.

The engagement ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. with the chanting of the Sukhmani Sahib from the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs, which will be followed by the 'ardas' or the holy prayer. It is expected to be attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his Punjab counterpart, Bhagwant Mann, and Bollywood personalities as well.

Kapurthala House is now the official residence of the Governor and Chief Minister of Punjab whenever they are in the city. It was last occupied by Maharaja Paramjit Singh of Kapurthala, who sold it to a businessman named Radheshyam Makhanlal Seksaria in 1950, but it was later requisitioned by the Government of India.

Ahead of her engagement, Parineeti's apartment in the Bandra area of Mumbai has been lit up with fairy lights. A video shared by the celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani shows Parineeti's apartment in a Bandra highrise brightly lit up for the special occasion.

Rumours that Raghav and Parineeti were dating picked up last month when the two were pictured together in London and then in Mumbai. The two have been spotted together several times - at the Mumbai airport or coming out of restaurants.

On the work front, meanwhile, Parineeti will be seen sharing the screen with Diljit Dosanjh in the Imtiaz Ali film 'Chamkila'. The film is said to be inspired by popular Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who was assassinated in the 1980s.

It is believed that the couple got close to each other during the film unit's long stay in Punjab for the 'Chamkila' shoot.

Mumbai, May 4 (IANS) Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is receiving good response to her recently released streaming spy series, 'Citadel', has revealed that she went through a rough patch during the initial phase of her Bollywood journey and the reason behind the same was a botched up nose job.

The actress, who has been making startling revelations of late, recently appeared on the 'Howard Stern Show' on Sirius XM and shared how she fell into depression and lost three films after the nose surgery went wrong.

She said, "This thing happens, and my face looks completely different, and I went into a deep, deep depression."

As per her claims, the surgeon accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose which led to its collapse. This resulted in her losing three movies. The actress further mentioned that during that period it was difficult for her to leave her home. Her late father, however, encouraged her to go under the knife again for corrective surgery.

She said her father held "my hands through it and helped me build back my confidence."

Anil Sharma, the Bollywood director, who has helmed 'Gadar 2', was also lauded by Priyanka for giving her an acting role after she lost three different movie projects as a result of surgery.

Mumbai, April 23 (IANS) Actress-producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently flew down to India for professional commitments, is all set to be seen in the upcoming streaming series 'Citadel,' in which she plays an elite spy along with Richard Madden.

Priyanka transitioned to the west almost a decade ago as she explored opportunities in music and worked with the likes of Pitbull and will.i.am, and eventually starred in projects like 'Quantico' and 'Baywatch', with 'Citadel' on the horizon.

The actress might have been in the west for quite sometime but she holds her Indian values close to her heart. Talking to IANS, PC said: "India is my identity. Wherever I go in the world, I am an Indian first and then everything else. I take a lot of pride in being born in a country which boasts of an ancient culture and such a mind-blowing mix of people."

She then factored in the concept of Indian hospitality which is known all over the world as she shared: "And I mean the world knows that nothing can come even remotely close to the Indian hospitality and the sentiment of 'atithi devo bhavah'. So, these are the values that I hold close to my heart and practice in my everyday life because that's who I am."

Being an Indian in a sea of American talents, who call the shots in Hollywood, it also gives her a sense of purpose. She told IANS: "It has been my aim to represent India on the international canvas. People from the South Asian community have been working in the west for very many years but, for some reason they were never given a chance to headline a project or to feature on the posters of an international film, in most of the cases."

She further mentioned: "When I started working in the west, it became very important for me to bring my community to the forefront and to bring in the recognition for the country which practically is one of the biggest film and entertainment markets. I take it up as my responsibility to ensure that all people from the South Asian community appear on the poster or headline the projects for the English content which is the global content and is viewed in most of the countries."

The first episode of 'Citadel' perfectly sets the tone for the series with its pitch-perfect mounting of action and establishment of characters as a lot of drama unfolds between the heavy action sequences. When asked if she did any improvisation or if she went completely by the book. Thie actress said: "The most interesting part about the opening sequence was that there was a lot of action happening inside the train - People were dying, an explosion was happening and I and Richard were still having a dialogue, screaming at each other across the two ends of the coach because that's how the relationship between these two agents is."

"So, there were a lot of improvisations even before the camera started rolling, while preparing the scenes we used to exchange a lot of information about the scene," she added.

As a closure to the conversation with IANS, PC spoke about the merits of long-format content: "Long format content is a blessing for the actors because they get to explore the character more and the back stories."

"As for the viewers, they also find it more engaging and invest more of their time trying to understand the world of the series or the film, the characters and where they come from," she concluded.

'Citadel' premieres on Prime Video on April 28.

The Ambani family was in full attendance at the opening of Nita Ambani's dream cultural project -- Mukesh Ambani arrived with his daughter Esha and her father-in-law, Dilip Piramal, Akash Ambani came with wife Shloka Mehta, and Anant Ambani with fiancee Radhika Merchant.

And then the red carpet saw a procession of celebrities, from 'Citadel' star Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas, who had landed in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, along with their daughter Malti Marie, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar (with wife Anjali and daughter Sara), to Bollywood's Great Khans -- Shah Rukh (with wife Gauri, Aaryan and Suhana), Salman, Aamir (dressed down in casual kurta and blue jeans, and with his many children).

The centre opens with an exhibition titled 'Sangam/Confluence', which features the works of artists Bharti Kher, Bhupen Khakhar, Ranjani Shettar, Ratheesh T., and Shantibai, and international trend-setters such as Anselm Kiefer, Cecily Brown, Francesco Clemente, Lynda Benglis, and Raqib Shaw.

The exhibition has been curated by Jeffrey Deitch and Ranjit Hoskote.

The second opening exhibition is centred around the world of fashion and history. Curated by Hamish Bowles, global editor-at-large, 'Vogue', and designed by Patrick Kinmonth and Rooshad Shroff, the exhibition will showcase Western couture inspired by India.

The Centre's opening will also feature the expansive musical, 'Civilization to Nation: The Journey of Our Nation'. Playwright and director Feroz Abbas Khan has put up this kaleidoscopic narration of Indian history and culture told through the Natya Shastra, the ancient Sanskrit treatise on the performing arts.

This performance boasts over 700 performers and will feature dance, music, and puppetry.

Mumbai, March 31 (IANS) Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas landed in Mumbai on Friday along with her family members - husband Nick Jonas, her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and mother Madhu Chopra. As she came out of the VIP area of the Mumbai airport, the actress waved to the media and paparazzi and also introduced her daughter to them.

While PC wore a cerise coloured outfit with a thigh high slit skirt, sneakers paired with sunglasses, her husband Nick was seen wearing a pair of denims with a sweatshirt paired with sneakers. Nick rounded up his look with a cap and sunglasses.

Priyanka is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming streaming series 'Citadel' in which she plays a spy. The series also stars Richard Madden and has been created by Russo Brothers of 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame' fame.

Meanwhile, wedding bells are ringing for Priyanka's cousin Parineeti Chopra. As per Parineeti's 'Code Name: Tiranga' co-star Harrdy Sandhu, the actress is set to tie the knot with AAP Minister Raghav Chadha.

Earlier, the two have been spotted together at numerous occasions with Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjeev Arora congratulating Raghav and Parineeti for their union through his Twitter account.

Los Angeles : After revealing her daughter Malti Marie's face to the world at the Hollywood Walk of Fame event for the Jonas Brothers, Priyanka Chopra has shared a picture with her on social media.

On Sunday, Priyanka took to Instagram, where she shared two pictures of her and her baby. She held her close and clicked a selfie, showing Malti's face. In the second image she is in bed holding Malti close to her while hiding her face with her hand.

She captioned her posts: "Days like this."

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in Christian and Hindu ceremonies in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in December 2018. They welcomed their daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy last year.

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in 'Love Again' and the series 'Citadel'. She will also be starring with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa'.
