Jammu, 5 June (HS): A grand event is being organized on June 9 at Gulshan Ground ( Jammu) during which Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan and director Kabir Khan will promote their upcoming movie ?Chandu Champion.

This was disclosed today by Ajit Singh, an event director based in Jammu and the founder of Legends Dance and Fitness Studio, while addressing a press conference, here today. He said this will be 1st such event in Jammu where Bollywood celebrities like Kartik Aryan, Kabir Khan and others will perform and promote their upcoming movie ?Chandu Champion.

He said the event is being organized in collaboration with Shreyas Media and Sam?s Production. Throwing light on the movie, Singh said ?Chandu Champion? in which Kartik Aryan is in lead role, is being directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. ?The film based on a real-life sportsperson, will release in cinemas for Eid on 14 June,? he said, adding, Kartik Aryan plays the titular role in the film.

He informed that DGP J&K Police RR Swain will be chief guest of the event, which will be attended by several senior officers and Jawans of Army, CRPF, BSF and J&K Police. He appealed the people of Jammu to avail this opportunity of seeing their favourite Bollywood star in their home city by attending the event in large numbers.

A video shared by celebrity paparazzi Viral Bhayani on Instagram, shows Kartik getting on an Indigo flight and is seen looking for his seat. He is seen wearing a powder blue T-shirt paired with pants. 

The video has now got divided attention on social media as some hail the actor to be grounded while others say it’s a new way of promoting the film. 

A user wrote in the comment section: “This is the new trend to promote films.”

One defended the actor and said: “Lol guys Indigo only has economy class so please.”

A netizen said it’s a “publicity stunt”. 

“KA will always be a boy with middle class values,” said a fan.

One quoted a line from the iconic film ‘Hera Pheri’ and said: “Promotion ka chakkar Babu bhaiya promotion ka chakkar.”

Kartik is gearing up for the release of  ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ with Kiara Advani. The film will be releasing in theatres on June 29. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, it also stars Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak. 

Mumbai, June 5 (IANS) The trailer of the upcoming film 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', which reunites Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, was unveiled on Monday. The trailer shows Kartik's character of a virgin, Satyaprem, who comes from a Gujarati background.

Satyaprem is desperate to get married and finds true love in Kiara's character of Katha. The film gets its title from its lead characters and their love story.

The almost three-minute long trailer pokes fun at the trend of making a hashtag out of the names of a soon to be married couple. The trailer follows the lead characters through several vibrant settings highlighting the Gujarati culture, breathtaking landscapes and features many punchlines directed at Kartik's character's desperation to get married.

It has several rib-tickling dialogues like Satya's sister saying: "Arre Internet pe isko followers nahi milte, ladki kya milegi (He can't get followers on the Internet forget about him getting a girl he could marry)."

Another highlight of the trailer is Kartik's dialogue where he says: "Main virgin hoon, maine socha apni baaydi ke liye apne aap ko save kar ke rakhta hoon (I'm a virgin, I thought I'll reserve myself for the my true love)."

All these instances make the trailer a family entertainer peppered with romance. However, the trailer changes the trajectory with the mention of a truth that will change the lives of both Satya and Katha.

Earlier, the makers had released the song 'Naseeb Se' from the film, a few bits of which can be heard in the trailer as well.

Mumbai: As his film 'Shehzada' is all set to hit the screens, Bollywood's chocolate boy Kartik Aaryan paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai to seek blessings for the movie. However, his car was towed away as he had left it in a no-parking zone.

The Mumbai Police Twitter handle shared a picture of his Lamborghini and captioned it with the popular monologue from Kartik's film 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama'.

The caption read: "Problem? Problem yeh thi ki the car was parked on the wrong side! Don't do the 'Bhool' of thinking that 'Shehzadaas' can flout traffic rules."

The traffic police blurred the number of the actor's vehicle. The police did not share details about the challan.

Helmed by Rohit Dhawan, 'Shehzada' also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Ronit Roy. It is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo'.
