London, 04 December: Celebrating 30 years of Yash Raj Films’ iconic blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol unveiled a bronze statue of the film’s beloved characters Raj and Simran at Leicester Square.

As per agency report, this is the first time an Indian film has been honoured with a statue at Leicester Square. The landmark already features installations depicting memorable scenes from some of the world's most renowned films, and now the Raj–Simran statue joins this distinguished collection.

Shah Rukh Khan said that DDLJ was created with sincerity and aimed to tell a love story that transcends barriers, reflecting the belief that love has the power to make the world better. He expressed gratitude that the film continues to receive immense affection even after three decades, calling it a humbling moment for him and Kajol.

Kajol appeared at the ceremony with her daughter Nysa and son Yug, and posed for photographs with Shah Rukh Khan in front of the statue. She said the honour felt extraordinary and described witnessing the unveiling in London as reliving a part of their history, a story that has travelled across generations.

New Delhi, November 2 – Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s next film titled ‘King’ is set to hit theatres in 2026. The announcement was made by the makers on Sunday, coinciding with the actor’s 60th birthday.

As per agency report, the film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who earlier collaborated with Shah Rukh in the 2023 blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. The new project is being jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Mumbai, September 5 – Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan may appear in cameo roles in the upcoming film Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Ranveer Singh in the lead.

Rani Mukerji took home the Best Actress award for her moving portrayal in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.

The 71st National Film Awards, announced in New Delhi on Friday, recognised the cinematic achievements of 2023. 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was declared Best Feature Film. Filmmaker Sudipto Sen won Best Director for The Kerala Story.

Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani bagged the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur was awarded for promoting national, social, and environmental values. The film also won accolades for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup.
