He clarified that candidates will not need to register anew or pay any additional application fee for this re-examination.

The NTA is currently determining exam centers and dates in collaboration with its technical team to ensure that the process remains completely secure and organized. In discussions with the media, DG Abhishek Singh acknowledged that the agency takes responsibility for the disruptions in the examination system, which is why a stringent decision was made to cancel the exam to maintain integrity. He mentioned that the responsibility for a thorough investigation of the matter has been assigned to the CBI.

The NTA has appealed to the investigative agency to identify and take strict legal action against any individuals involved in the paper leak, whether external or within the department, to prevent such incidents in the future. The Director General reassured over 2.2 million candidates that the current developments will not adversely affect the NTA's future examinations.

He stated that the agency is committed to restoring its credibility and the trust of students, and the re-examination will be conducted with complete transparency and without any errors. It is noteworthy that this entrance exam, held on May 3, was canceled by the central government on Tuesday following allegations of a paper leak, after which preparations for a new conduct have begun.

West Bengal Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari stated today that reaching the Ayushman Bharat scheme to the last person in the state is a priority for his government.

He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, mentioning that the 'double engine government' is committed to delivering all welfare schemes of the central government to the people without any hindrance. The Chief Minister noted on 'X' that for years, the people of West Bengal were deprived of the visionary health and welfare schemes of the central government. Now, with the double engine government, efforts will be made to ensure that all central schemes, including Ayushman Bharat, reach the last mile.

He stated that West Bengal is now back on the path of development. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi also expressed happiness over the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state. The Prime Minister mentioned that the people of West Bengal will now benefit from the world's largest health scheme, which ensures quality and affordable medical facilities.

He added that the double engine government will also ensure the smooth implementation of central schemes. Recently sworn-in Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari announced the implementation of the 'Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana' in the state. Under this scheme, the people of the state will be able to benefit from the central government's major health insurance scheme.

This scheme, operated under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by the National Health Authority, aims to provide cashless hospital treatment facilities up to five lakh rupees per year to economically weaker and needy families. The scheme was launched in September 2018.

While addressing a public meeting near HAL Airport in Bengaluru, he stated that while the BJP is achieving electoral victories, Congress, which had over 400 seats about 40 years ago, has failed to cross the 100-seat mark in the last three Lok Sabha elections.

He criticized Congress for its arrogance, stating that it blames the Constitution, democracy, constitutional institutions, and courts for its failures, and noted that he has never seen any mainstream political party behave in such a manner. He mentioned that Congress is so deep in its defeat that it has no option but to resort to abusive language. He emphasized that the welfare of the people is everything for BJP governments, highlighting that 250 million people have risen out of poverty.

He stated that the BJP's slogan is 'Sabka Kalyan' (Welfare for All) and its model is 'Good Governance', which is why people are giving the BJP a chance to serve them again. He pointed out that Congress governments in the states do not return to power for a second term, as dissatisfaction among the people begins within a year of their coming to power, attributing this to Congress's tendency to deceive. He remarked that Congress's guarantees are also false and that there is no chapter on 'Good Governance' in Congress's book.

He noted that in Karnataka, the government has spent most of its time resolving internal conflicts rather than addressing people's problems, leaving uncertainty about the Chief Minister's tenure. Modi also mentioned that during the election process in Tamil Nadu, Congress's ecosystem in Delhi was trying to mislead the country, and despite the results being declared on May 4, a government has yet to be formed in Kerala. He commented that this ecosystem remains silent regarding Kerala and is uncertain about whether they will have two chief ministers for five years or one each year.

He accused Congress of betraying its own leaders after making promises, citing examples from Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, and stated that the same is happening in Karnataka and Kerala. He expressed surprise at the situation in Himachal Pradesh, where Congress is unable to pay its employees. Modi stated that in Telangana, farmers are being driven to suicide, and wherever Congress is in power, either the treasury is looted for appeasement politics or there are internal disputes over the looted money.

He concluded by stating that Congress has become identified as a deceitful party, and whenever it gets a chance, it betrays its own leaders, emphasizing that there is no one whom Congress has not betrayed. He noted that Congress had a strong relationship with DMK for 30 years, and it was due to this alliance that Congress remained in power. However, he pointed out that despite this long-standing relationship and DMK's consistent support for Congress, as soon as the power dynamics shifted, Congress betrayed DMK.

Publish with Us: Wish to feature your personal or organizational milestones, success stories, or press releases in Loktej English? The initiative was led by food adulteration activist and founder of Anjali Gold, Mrs. Anjali Saxena, who spent the day with the residents and personally interacted with them.

With temperatures rising across North India, many elderly people living in old age homes face difficulties due to extreme heat conditions. Keeping this in mind, the Anjali Gold team distributed fans across the facility to help residents stay comfortable during the summer. Coconut water and freshly prepared meals were also served to all the residents to help them remain hydrated and cared for during the visit.

Apart from distributing essential items, the team also carried out maintenance and repair work at the old age home to improve the overall living conditions of the residents. Areas requiring repair and upkeep were restored with the support of the Anjali Gold team as part of the initiative.

Mrs. Anjali Saxena spent time with the elderly residents throughout the day, listening to their stories and interacting with them personally. Many residents shared emotional moments and expressed happiness over being remembered and cared for on an occasion like Mother’s Day.

Speaking during the initiative, Mrs. Anjali Saxena said, “Mother’s Day is not only about celebration. It is also about responsibility, respect, and standing beside those mothers who may feel alone. Even small efforts can bring comfort and happiness to someone’s life.”

Over the past few months, Anjali Gold has been actively involved in awareness-driven and social welfare initiatives across different communities. The brand, known for promoting awareness around food adulteration and purity, has continuously focused on creating meaningful ground-level impact beyond business activities.

The management of the old age home appreciated the efforts made by Mrs. Anjali Saxena and the Anjali Gold team and thanked them for supporting the residents during the harsh summer period. The initiative concluded with meals, conversations, and moments of emotional connection between the residents and the volunteers.

Governor R.N.

Ravi administered the oath of office and secrecy. The grand ceremony, held at the historic Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, was attended by several prominent leaders from across the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The ground resonated with the cheers of millions of supporters present.

Shuvendu Adhikari's path to becoming Chief Minister was paved on Friday when he was unanimously elected as the leader during a meeting of newly elected legislators chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The party leadership entrusted him with the state's command, expressing confidence in his deep influence in Bengal's grassroots politics and organizational capability. Amit Shah announced his name, describing it as a decisive step towards the development of Bengal and the resolution of 'Sonar Bangla'.

The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by leaders of NDA allied parties and several Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, which is seen as a significant show of strength by the party. Political analysts believe that the presence of top leadership at the oath-taking ceremony indicates the importance of this government, which has been formed for the first time in West Bengal, to the central government. Upon assuming the responsibilities of Chief Minister, Shuvendu Adhikari stated that law and order and economic reforms would be his priorities in the state.

The accused had completed a course in 2D and 3D design and elevation through YouTube.

The Susant Golf City police reported that one of the accused has a polytechnic diploma while the other has completed high school. The gang prepared and sold fake IPL tickets, operating both online and around the stadium. Pradeep Singh, a resident of Urai, attempted to watch the LSG vs RCB match at Ekana Stadium on Thursday, purchasing two tickets from young men outside the stadium and making a payment of one thousand rupees via UPI.

However, the stadium staff found the tickets to be fake and prevented him from entering. Pradeep filed a complaint with the Susant Golf City police. The match on Thursday saw a huge turnout of fans eager to see Virat Kohli, leading to the accused exploiting this demand.

Inspector Rajiv Ranjan Upadhyay of Susant Golf City police informed that 15 fake IPL tickets, a laptop, a paper cutter, a car, 14 counterfeit tickets, 13 plain paper sheets, two Aadhaar cards, a passbook, three ATM cards, and a PAN card were recovered from the accused. The police traced the accused through the UPI transaction made by Pradeep.

The four accused, who are residents of Durg in Chhattisgarh, were apprehended near Dodankheda Chauraha. The accused include Shrikant Borkar, who works in car washing and design, Nootan Sahu, who has a polytechnic diploma in architecture, Vishwajit Sahu, who has completed high school and studied design through YouTube, and Rajendra Chaudhary, who also has completed high school and works in washing.

The streets are decorated to welcome daughters and sisters, and the joy of aunts and sisters returning home after many years is evident in their eyes.

The event is being organized in memory of the late Khetaram Ji and Gomati Devi by their sons Tolaram, Biruram, and Bhavanishankar Saraswat, along with the recitation of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha. The conclusion of the Srimad Bhagwat week will take place on May 9, while the two-day Sister-Daughter Conference will conclude on May 10 with gifts presented to all sisters and daughters as a mark of respect. The conference is showcasing a unique scene of warmth in relationships and belonging in the village.

When elderly aunts and sisters gathered in the courtyards after many years, many eyes became moist. Some reminisced about childhood memories, while others shared emotional moments recalling their parents and old days. Women dressed in colorful ghagras and traditional attire brought the village's folk culture to life.

Gatherings in homes are filled with old stories, folk songs, and laughter, transforming the atmosphere into a family celebration. Villagers say that the return of daughters has brought a new vibrancy to Bamanwali. According to them, this conference is not just a social event but a symbol of respect for those daughters and sisters who were born in this soil and have illuminated various families and societies today.

The gathering of grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and granddaughters at the conference presents a wonderful sight of generational convergence. Every home in the village is serving the same traditional affection and warmth that every daughter longs for. Sampat Saraswat, the founder and chief organizer of Eco Bharat, stated that this 'Sister-Daughter Conference' sends a message to society to stay connected with its roots and daughters.

He mentioned that every street and home in the village is eagerly awaiting the arrival of daughters. After the conference concludes, these sisters and daughters will leave with a treasure of memories and belonging that will emotionally connect them until the next meeting.

The raids, which began on Thursday morning, continued until 1 AM the following day.

According to sources from the investigating agency, three accused have been arrested following the searches. The arrested individuals are Deepak Singh Ahlawat, Prithvi Kumar, and Vikas Taneja. Deepak Singh Ahlawat is a resident of Haryana, while Prithvi Kumar hails from Uttarakhand.

During the operation, the ED reportedly seized several important documents, electronic devices, and other digital evidence related to the investigation. Sources indicated that this case pertains to an alleged money laundering network linked to online betting and gaming worth approximately ₹1,000 crore. The ED's Bengaluru regional office has taken action against M/s Gamescraft Technology Private Limited, its directors, and several other accused related to the case.

Officials stated that several FIRs had previously been registered at local police stations in Bengaluru regarding this matter. Subsequently, the ED took over the investigation under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and initiated further action. The agency had also conducted a search operation last year in a separate but related case involving M/s Gamescraft Technology Private Limited and other companies.

Between November 18 and November 22 of the previous year, the ED raided the offices of M/s Directive Network Private Limited (NNPL), M/s Gamescraft Technologies Private Limited (GTPL), as well as the residences of their directors and other suspects. This investigation was initiated based on FIRs filed by the Karnataka police. According to the ED, the FIRs alleged that the gaming platform 'Pocket52', operated by NNPL, was involved in large-scale fraud, including manipulation of game outcomes, collusion among players, technical glitches, restrictions on withdrawals, and lack of transparency on the platform.

His father, S.A.

Chandrasekhar, is a prominent director and producer in the Tamil film industry, who played a crucial role in launching Vijay's career. His mother, Shobha Chandrasekhar, is a well-known playback singer and writer. The absence of his younger sister Vidya, who passed away at the age of two, has always been felt in Vijay's life, shaping his personality to be quite calm and serious.

Vijay's personal life resembles a film script, as his wife Sangeeta Sornalingam, from a business family in London, was a huge fan and came to Chennai to meet him. Their meetings turned into love, leading to their marriage in 1999. However, recent media reports suggest that the couple is now undergoing divorce proceedings.

Sangeeta has always preferred to stay away from the limelight, but her role in Vijay's career ups and downs has been a topic of discussion. Vijay's legacy is now being carried forward by his children.

His son Jason Sanjay has made his film debut with 'G.O.A.T' and is inclined towards both acting and directing, while his daughter Divya Sasha is currently focused on her studies and stays completely away from the spotlight. Vijay's party TVK recently made headlines by winning 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, indicating that he is ready to make his family's name shine in both cinema and the corridors of power.

The results of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections 2026 have heralded a new era in South Indian politics. Superstar Vijay's party 'Tamilga Vetri Kazhagam' (TVK) has made a remarkable performance in its first electoral battle, moving towards a majority.

Initial trends show TVK leading in over 110 seats, creating a celebratory atmosphere among fans and the film industry. Vijay's political success has proven that the cinematic 'Thalapathy' has now been accepted by the public as their true leader. As news of Vijay's victory spread, Bollywood and South film industry stalwarts began congratulating him.

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff described the public's trust in Vijay as remarkable, while Kajal Aggarwal termed it a victory for Vijay's vision and dedication. Actor Nani referred to Vijay's journey as 'pure politics' and a resounding victory for a weaker side, wishing for a better future for Tamil Nadu. Vijay Deverakonda also welcomed this new political era and expressed hope for the collective development of the state.

Superstar Vikram shared an old picture with his friend Vijay, addressing him as 'Nanba' (friend) and congratulating him for making history. Experts believe that TVK achieving the largest vote share poses a significant challenge to the state's traditional politics.
